TAWSE TYRE CO

I bought winter tyres from Tawse. I have been buying all my tyres from them for many years. When I got a puncture that ruined one of the tyres I asked them to fit a replacement, however they were unable to supply one, though they would be happy to sell me two tyres and leave me with an unusable one. I bought a matching tyre online (only because they couldn't supply a replacement for what they had originally fitted) and they refused to fit it! I explained the circumstances to various staff members but they wouldn't budge - talk about jobsworths! Needless to say I will now go anywhere rather than go back to Tawse.

Was there this morning waiting over 1 hour.In between a chap came to ask what work had to be done. Explained that 4 new wintertyres had to be put on, they were back in the boot. "No problem".

In the workshop, "we do not change what we have not sold". This is not signposted anyware. We have been customers for the last 4 years, have been bying tyres for our other 2 cars as well for company cars. And untill today it was not a problem also changing not from the bought tyres.

A shame, it used to have a good reputation and we would recommend them to everyone. Not now anymore. They have lost future business.
