2 reviews of Liverpool Town Hall in English
A flagship building in the heart of the city, Liverpool’s Town Hall it is often used for conferences and can be hired by virtually anyone. the building itself is magnificent and can be seen by anyone who enters the city via liverpool lime street, the architecture matches that of the gallery and is centrally located near the train, shopping and world famous albert docks.
Liverpool Town Hall is a magnificent 18th century grade one listed building situated in the heart of the culture quarter close to Mathew Street. Its high dome, topped by a statue of Minerva, goddess of wisdom, is the centre piece of a sumptuous architectural assemblage.
The Town Hall can accommodate up to 270 guests in its various rooms, including the council Chamber, which are available to hire to suit your needs. The town Hall is one of Liverpool’s premier venues for Weddings, Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners, Conferences/meetings, exhibitions etc.
“Caterers to the Lord Mayor” provide the in house catering. This award winning team regularly caters for Royalty (including Her Majesty the Queen), guests from the world of media, television, sport business and ambassadors from around the world. The staff’s attention to detail, flexibility and customer care is second to none and much evident in the quality delivered at the many functions which take place and the fact that it is booked up many months in advance and in some cases over a year in advance.
A jewel in the crown for the Capital of Culture so please do visit this somewhat hidden gem.
