The Beach Ballroom

Great venue. Have been to several balls and concerts here all very enjoyable. Only critisism is the bar which is on the small/expensive side!

A lovely, large and light building right on the sea front (as the name suggests!) All kinds of large events are staged here, from seminars to grand concerts; I myself took part in an exhibition along with lots of craft and charity stalls. The views were very enticing from the windows and I enjoyed looking out at the sea from the warmth of the big room! Apparently the dance floor is one of the best in Scotland, if not the UK. It’s set on steel springs which gives dancers more of a bounce! I wasn’t able to find out for myself unfortunately.
