Soul Cellar, Southampton

Agree with previous review. To expand on beer selection - there us Leffe,Bellevue Kriek,Franziskaner weißbeer,Hoegarden,Czech pilsner on draught. Bottled beers include other weizen,Budvar & so on. There is the usual brands like Becks & Stella - for Mondeo Man.

Laid back chill out place, brings in guest DJs during the week (one in tonight). Although you have to pay a couple of quid to go in later on in evening. Unsure what you get for your £2.

Does a small selection of food e.g. burgers , chilli.

Seems like a thoroughly right on place to me.

Slightly out the way in the Soul Cellar in Southampton, round the back of KFC and Star Travel and across from Southampton Civic Centre. It often hosts the after parties for gigs at the Southampton Guild Hall, and other live bands and acts with unsigned artists.
Its definitely a funky venue with two floors, a bar area downstairs and more of a club/dancing area upstairs with a bar.

Excellent selection of European beers last time I was there with some new tastes for me and enjoyed it! Definitely worth a visit for live music and even nice during the day for a quiet drink.
