Cafe Continental

First time I have been in here since it reopened and I wish I hadn't bothered. 7 of us went for a meal there and were shown through to the back room which smelled (probably due to being with poor ventilation and next to the disable toilet). The menu looked interesting enough and the prices seemed reasonable.

Our food arrived luke warm and by the time you had had a few mouthfuls it was cold. I mentioned this to our server who sent for the manager, I explained that our food had not been hot when it arrived and he asked me "what do you want ME to do about it?!?" I probably should have refused to pay but simply told him I was giving feedback so it wouldn't happen again. He retorted sarcastically that "next time I will make sure your food is piping hot". Generally when I go out, I expect hot food to be served that way.

YES, the place is open again and this time is 100% You don't have to go to Edinburgh anymore to get fantastic food, cocktails or service. This is THE place to be seen in Kirkcaldy. The staff is great, food..the best there is and the Manager is always there to help. Highly recommended
