An interesting and absorbing couple of hours entertainment (not 4 hours as certain guides suggest), especially if you have a gore-obsessed child with you!
Some things to note:
- It is only 3 floors (not 5)
- It is VERY pricey unless you use a 2 for 1 offer
- Some of the exhibits will make stomachs turn
Personally, I enjoyed the visit, but having noted other reviewers comments, I can see why you might not.

this definately isnt a place for everyone. tickets cost about 40 pounds i think at full price so i would recommend using a two for one offer. you can get these by just buying a rail ticket to london or theres loads online. if you are prepared to read all the info and are interested in the wierd and wonderfull then this is for you. if you dont really feel that excited by it then dont go, you do have to make the effort to enjoy it.

£40 for two adult tickets - this is an absolute rip off
Many of the exhibits are duplicated at other Ripleys locations the videos are taken from the TV shows presented by Dean Cain and appear not only outdated but in some cases factually incorrect. Exhibits are displayed confusingly with one label for an entire case but no way to identify items beyond this.
Over three floors it felt like the 'good’ parts would be just around the corner, a corner which never arrived - unless you count the exit.

Admission prices are far too much for what you get. After visiting ripleys in Blackpool a few years ago we thought this new museum would be much better, but it was deffinately not. Do not waste your money paying the extra £3.95 each for the mirror maze, it’s a joke!
I feel I went to London and got totally ripped off, beleive it or not! It’s my opinion.

Terrible, terrible, terrible - even with a 2 for 1 deal (Rail travel coupon). The promotion guys tell you that its 5 floors when in fact it is only 3. The other 2 floors are the entrance floor and the gift shop. They actually call it a museum when in fact its just a collection of plastic replicas and framed soundbites. Its expensive, tacky and nasty. The lifts on the way up are the most impressive part, believe it or not.

Ok so it is not the natural history museum nor is it disney world but this is a good bit of fun for those intrigued in the wierd and wonderful.
AS soon as you walk out you are greeted with exhibits such as Hailie Selasies throne , a Giant shark jaw and the largest ever made rocking chair !
This is a fun museum and although yes some things are wax replicas it is still very interesting and yes! heaven forbid you may have to read something to appreciate the story behind each artifact.
From portraits made from pennies and stamps.. to genuine Vampire killing kits made it the 1800’s and even geuine shrunken heads (they have videos explaining how and why they did this) this really is a fun day out.
I had a free pass so I do not know how much they charge you but I would say if you are looking for an interesting bit of fun Ripley’s is it!
Believe it or not :)

You get what you pay for…this place is expensive but it’s a very enjoyable, fascinating few hours. I was amused from the moment I stepped through the door as in the lobby there’s some weird characters to look at, in fact I was intrigued from before stepping in the door as one of the oversize characters entertains you in the street. I do think they should include the mirror maze (must be even wackier if you’ve had a drink but I wouldn’t recommend it) and programme guide in the admission fee. The signs are easy and quick to read, although I gave up reading them all and the actual exhibits are fantastic. I loved the robotic dinasour, the chicken run which had a stable ground with spinning walls and made you feel as if you’d fall over, the torture bit was gruesome but us humans have a morbid curiosity. There’s even a part dedicated to Marilyn Monroe. There is a one way mirror planted in the museum, won’t tell you where as it will spoil your fun. I was in hysterics as people were unaware we were watching them! Oh, and there is a wicked jewelled mini cooper, I want that car! A very memorable museum with things you won’t see anywhere else. Fantastic.

Ripleys believe it or not museum is a must see in London. We were drawn in by “Cat Man” at the entrance. It was a really fun day, and the displays are really fascinating. Completely different to all other museums and lots of “hands on” type displays such as a massive rocking chair you can sit on. I would really reccomend it to any tourists visiting central london. The ticket prices were a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.

I agree with previous reviewers that this is a bit pricey at £17.95, but if you travel by train you can pick up a leaflet at large stations (like Waterloo) which, with your ticket, gets you in 2 for 1, which makes a huge difference! I really enjoyed it, took nearly 3 hours to walk around and was all well presented and well laid out. The exhibits were fascinating, although with a lot of them, you had to read the information to really appreciate them, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with young children. Some of the sections were quite scary too, particularly a part about torture. I think you could miss this bit out but when it’s so expensive that feels like a waste of money!

I really enjoyed visiting this attraction at the weekend it was very informative and the exhibits were in some cases amazing and in others very funny.
It is pricey at £17.95 for an adult ticket, one tip is that there are often people handing out leaflets near by offering £2 off per adult or on the back of your ticket there is an offer for £4 off your next visit so it may be helpful if you can catch someone coming out that is willing to give you there ticket.
Having said that for a central London attraction I think this is value for money, it took us 2 hours to walk round and we could have taken longer had we watched the dvds that were showing aswell and read every sign.
I probably wouldn’t return for a few years as once you’ve seen the attractions there is no need to but I would recommend this to anyone that hasn’t been.

This was a very fun attraction to visit. Some of the exhibits are incredible, and it has been laid out very nicely. I thought it was going to be more interactive than it was, as it is more of a museum. The entrance price is quite expensive. I would say it took about an hour and a half to visit. The gift shop is brilliant. It is located in the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus.

This is an absolutely fantastic museum. There are many fasinating and strange things to see which amaze everyone. Its a great tourist attraction. The ticket prices are £18 at the door, however on 365tickets.com they do some great offers sometimes. It was very fascinating especially the 'chicken run’ which is a bridge you have to cross however the walls around are spinning around to make you dizzy. Can you cross without falling??? A must see attraction. I would even go back again thats how much i liked it.
