Over priced, filthy, low quality and duct taped up. This about sums up the Odeon Maidstone.
I went there with my wife to catch one of the many movies I saw were playing online. What I seemed to overlook was that the this particular cinema not only didn't play the movies it said it did online, it seemed to play only a couple movies a day with showing times having hours in between each other.
Nonetheless we purchased two tickets at the ridiculous price of 18 plus pounds. It was downhill from there on as I went to use the bathroom that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Then as I went to wash my hands the taps were extremely hot. I'm not talking just a little hot, but scalding, boiling kettle hot. The staff had apparently done nothing to solve the problem and instead just left a sign saying the water was hotter than usual. This was clearly a violation of health and safety standards.
Then we went into the movie to see the pitifully small screen. With no exaggeration, this thing was only slightly bigger than some of the top range HDTV's sold in stores. Apparently trying to make up for the small screen, the speakers were turned up to what seemed to be the max setting and did nothing but give myself and my wife a headache.
And then you have the seats, back numbing, low quality chairs from the 90's in an absolutely appalling state. Of all the seats in the room, about 90% of them had been duct taped in some shape or form. Those that hand't were literally falling apart at the seams.
All in all I wasted 20 plus pounds (Drinks and movie) for an experience I would rather forget. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

I took my son here for the first time the other week and he loved it. They have booster seats for the children and plenty of them which is not often the case, so my son could see the whole film.
The staff were good and the area was clean and tidy.

Love this place, not only do you have the Odeon but in the complex which is called Lockmeadow, you also have an all you can eat Chinese, Old Orleans, Burger King, Franky and Bennys, a pizza place and 2 night clubs. All you need for a good night out. It is a bit expensive to go to the cinema, it's about £7 for a normal adult ticket but they have loads of screens so there is plenty to see and you get to pick where you are seated so get there early for popular films. The food is expensive as well so a lot of people take their sweets and drinks. You can opt for the comfy seats in the screens which are sometimes only 50p more and they really are a lot better than normal seats. Where possible, I go for the comfy seats.

This is a multiplex cinema outside of the town centre on the development known as Lockmeadow. it has other restaurants and bars around it, and also 2 night clubs. It has good parking available, some of it is covered and lit, and you have to pay during the day but not in the evening, and its very safe. The cinema is quite expensive, the actualy tickets are the most expensive I’ve ever seen at a cinema, and of course the food is not cheap wither. The drinks come in huge buckets, as does the popcorn. I don’t think it is as clean as it could be, and you have to pay extra for the good seats in the middle, “luxury seats”, and they are also more comfy than the other seats so it is a bit of a rip-off.

Never really been a big fan of Odeon cinemas, i always found them to have really small screens, and very expensive.
However, when i moved to Maidstone i checked out my local cinema, which was the Odeon in the Lockmeadow Complex. The cinema is nicely located, within walking distance to the town, and right near some lovely reasaurants in Lockmedow. i.e.Frankie and Bennys.
The Odeon in Maidstone has great sized screens, and the showings are always at really good times i have noticed.
Also, it is always so clean and well looked after. The toilets never seem to be dirty, and the staff do everything they can to make your Odeon experience enjoyable.
They have recenlty revamped where you get your popcorn and sweeties, and made it a lot bigger than it used to be with A LOT more cashiers. So if your in a hurry for your film, there are plenty of people serving, so no more missing the first part of the film lol.
Way to go Odeon Maidstone, the seats are really comfy too.

Im not the biggest fan of Odeon cinemas, as the screens tend to be small and the cinemas tend to be in the most random of locations.
Its not really different here, the screens are about the same size as every other and the staff are helpful, but being the only cinema in the area, i cant say i’d be complaining because there are no alternatives.

This Cinema is in a good location within the lockmeadow centre which has a buger king in and and few other resturants and clubs as well, Id say the worst time to go would be on a friday or saturday night as it gets busy with all the people going to the club next door, jumping jacks

The Odeon cinema at Maidstone has a number of screens, with quite a wide selection of films.
It offers a number of different clubs from mother and baby to senior citizens and the afternoon matinee.
the food and drink is really expensive but I guess that is to be expected of cinemas! (I’ve heard they don’t earn anything from their ticket sales)
The cinema is always clean and the toilets are lovely and hygenic as well. There are a couple of arcade games scattered around also if you get bored waiting for your film to start.
The cinemas are quite small, but that may just be the screen i’ve been in as i don’t go there too often. But a decent place, if slightly expensive, way to see a film.

Great cinema but the food can be over pricey. Staff are usually ok and friendly. Great tango blasters!!

Always clean which is a huge plus for any cinema! Food and drink there is expensive. Good range of screens. They do fall short though by not having all the films on that have been released! They pick and choose! They have a plus side by doing a kind of coffee morning for mums and their children which is a nice touch!
