Showcase Cinema, Bluewater

I love this cinema. Out of the ones near me, this seems to have the best screens and seating.

My husband and I do treat ourselves to the seats in the gallery whenever there is a film we really want to see. It is more expensive (I think about £16 per ticket), but you get amazing seats, and you can get unlimited hot drinks (tea & coffee, I'm not sure about hot chocolate), and you get a plate of nachos to share, a chocolate muffin and a little box of celebrations chocolates each.

If you want to you can get a bottle of wine to share and they will put it in a wine cooler filled with ice so it stays cool for the whole film.

We also wanted ice-cream once, the staff member went down stairs to get it for us, and when they came back & we were waiting they told us that they would have actually brought it to us at our seats!!

If you get an insider card then you can get good offers on lots of the films (a normal viewing on a Tuesday I think is £4.50) and other things - I have only just joined but I think you can get offers on food, and other bits such as not having to pay extra for 3D...

The location is also great, so many choices of restaurant - my husband and I always take it in turns to choose the restaurant where we have a main course, then we have ice-cream with the film & a Krispy Kreme doughnut each afterwards! Yum (good thing we don't go too often!!!)

Anytime I want to go to the cinema this is the place I always go to! I love the gallery seats they have there. You get a sofa type seat to yourself and they are very comfortable! It's makes going to the cinema a very enjoyable! The prices are a little more exspensive than your usual seats but it's very well worth it!

Whenever i visit Showcase cinema in Bluewater i make sure i buy my tickets beforehand because the lines can get very busy for tickets.

The cinema is located right near all the popular restaurants so is very handy and easy to get to after your meal.

The prices of snacks i find a little bit expenisve, but you get that where ever you go.

The best bit about this cinema is the comfy seats. You can pay extra and sit in the gallery, but i don’t think its worth it because the seats you get std are just as nice.

Overall the cinema is kept to a high standards and is normally always very clean.

The cinema at Bluewater is fab. Easy to get tickets beforehand too. The layout is easy to follow with all the necessary drinks and food available as you walk through to your screen. Friendly staff have shown us to our seats on a few occassions. The best part has got to be the gallery though - very comfortable and definietly worth the extra money

I really like this cinema I always try to go here as it is very big and not at all expensive. The screenings are easily accesible by esculators, and the seats are really comfy. Food counters on every level which I find really useful as if you want something during the film you don’t have to go all the way to the main counter to get something you can just nip outside, same with the toilets. The place is always clean and the staff are always in a nice, friendly mood. There is also a wide range of food and drinks to choose from and if you didn’t want that, there are restaurants nearby to go eat.

Located in the middle of the section on the 2nd floor.It does get booked up quick for when the big new films come out so its good to book in advance but if you have been out shopping and just fancy grabbing a film its ideal.The cinema also has a gallery section which is the exclusive seating…its expensive but very worth it.You get a complimentary plate of food and also a little box of chocolates you can also buy your drinks from the bar upstairs.The seats in the gallery are extra special as they are little sofas which is nice if you are off to see a romantic film.
In the regular seats you are very comfy too and the sound is great where ever you are seated.The cinema is very clean and always well staffed.As much as the food is nice it is very badly over priced but they have a captive audience so they get away with it…

this is a nice clean cinema with comfy seats and all the new releases. Great for after shopping. I have seen quite a few films in this cinema I think my recent fave was Sex in the city although my husband hated it not really his cup of tea. My daughter enjoyed WallE in the summer. It’s very handy to have such a good cinema with lots of big screens in a shopping centre like Bluewater, it makes it a realy entertainment destination. They also do baby and parent viewings which are great because if your baby cries it really doesn’t matter. And it’s nice and warm on a cold afternoon.

This was an ok cinema to go to after a bit of shopping but not one of the best. The good parts was that there is allocated seating although this is hard to find in the dark!!!! , the confectionary counter is great offering, popcorn, sweets, ice cream and alcoholic drinks! The price is very reasonable for the location and the screen itself was very clean although the seating was quite small. The staff were friendly enough, but nothing out of the ordinary but I was glad to see that they did not let their friends in for free and security was good so no freeloaders!

Superbly facilitated cinema, one of the best I have visited!

Great parking, great screens, the usual over priced food and drink and Ice cream! Can’t recommend this enough!

Also has premium gallery seats for people who want to spend extra, which is worth it on a film you really want to see!

Beware of large queues at peak time, book in advance where possible.

Orange wednesdays usually!

This cinema is situated inside the Bluewater shopping centre. It is large and modern and shows a very large choice of films. There is a car park just outside the cinema and to get there you need to drive as far round Bluewater as possible past the House of Fraser car park. It is free parking so makes up for the cost of the cinema which I think is expensive.

As there are a good choice of restaurants within Bluewater it’s a great place to have a bite to eat after the film.

They also do mother and baby screenings at this cinema and publish the dates on their website.

This is quite a nice cinema to go to if you’re doing your shopping and fancy a little down time while you’re at. It offers a wide selection of movies to suit all tastes and has many screens. You can pay more and get seats in the gallery but this is really not worth it as the cinemas are pretty comfy in all sections.

As usual most sweets/confectionary/crisps etc are quite expensive but the tango blasters are very nice so be sure to try them out!

Overall a very clean, nice smelling cinema with good service.

This cinema is located near the bars & restaurants in bluewater shopping centre.Handy for pre or post show drinks, you can pre book tickets or buy them on the day. They also accept codes for orange wednesdays (not sure about the McDonalds 2 for 1 offer)
The gallery seating is fantastic, costs a little extra but it is nice to treat yourself every now & then (go on, you deserve it!!) Included in the price is drinks & complmentary sweets.
There are a lot of screens and hence there is a variety of films on at any one time.

Have been to this cinema loads of times. Really nice seats, good picture, good sound.

Would rate this 5 stars but the price of food and drink in this place is absurd! Too expensive!

Always shows a good selection of films.

This cinema also takes Orange Wednesdays!
