Review of Beehive Inn from 31 July 2012

I can highly recommend this bar, you can find what ever you want there. The garden out is lovely and perfect for having a cold beer in summer. Also very nice is the bar in the first floor, not so overcrowded and of course it's silent there - perfect for having a whisky.

Review of Beehive Inn from 27 June 2012

Staffing levels are on the short side and you do wait a bit for drinks. BRILLIANT garden out the back for the rare sunny days here, and more space out the front which is good. The water in the taps in the ladies' loos is ferocious so stand out of the way when you turn them on! Food is grand - standard pub fayre. They also have a smaller dining area which is good if you don't want to be in the main bar. Only weird thing is the disco that we saw starting in the main bar on the Friday night - very odd indeed! Grand if you're out and about in the Grassmarket.
