4 reviews of Cardiff University Concert Hall in English
same as the other reviews really this is an amzing little venue that some how attracts the big bands. you get a great view from any where here. drinks prices are robbery as you would expect. would recommend this venue over cia any day
The great hall is a fairly intimate venue which often hosts live music concerts. I have seen a few events here and have been thoroughly impressed with the sound dynamics even if it is a little on the loud size.
This is a smallish concert hall in Corbert road better for small groups. Having said that I have sung in the university choir
(about 300 members) with a full symphony orchestra and organ. There was little room for an audience and they needed ear plugs !
The hall should be called the 'rehersal hall’ If you are interested in organs the one in the hall was built by J.W. Walker and sons.Ltd It has an interesting specification and layout of pipes -It sounds good in addition! My opinion about the sound is however not shared by all people !
