I had my Macbook screen replaced recently and it is now as good as new. He turned up on location, I am pleased with the service, cost and the time it took. Glad I was not swayed by the negative comments. Would definitely recommend and use their service again.

Unacceptable level of care. Laptop sent with smashed screen and dysfunctional dvd drive in August of this year. Job was paid for upfront and what was to follow was MONTHS of silence with ALS out of contact until advice from a solicitor sought. Laptop then returned months late with no documentation, no justification as to why this was the case and NO refund of time lost and ALS once again uncontactable. Would seriously avoid!

I found this website through google and wasn't sure because of the negative review. My screen was shattered and I thought it sounded professional and convenient and it was! For £129 I had my screen replaced at my desk the following day and it took less than an hour. Great service.

Called ALS after Apple stated my screen was bad and needed to be replaced. After the phone conversation I was told he is an expert in this area and have seen the symptoms I described a 100 times.
After he replaced the screen, the problem was still there. He took my macbook to his workshop and told me he would call the next day. No call. I called the next day and was told he was busy and would call me back. No call. Finally got him on the phone.

He still was not sure what was wrong with it and told me he had to refer to another repair place. I decided to just pick up the computer and deal with someone else. I was told I had to pay £80 for his time to diagnose the problem. This was never mentioned until this point. He refused to return my computer until I paid and even threatened my "if I ever see you somewhere on the street" etc.
Basically he exhorted £80 from me to give me the phone and address of someone who may actually be able to fix my macbook. Oh and to get my macbook back.
STAY AWAY from this guy.
