AVOID THIS SALON LIKE THE PLAQUE I got the deal with groupon for 3 microdermabrasion. One my first appointment I was surprised how run down the place looked, although they were friendly enough and offered me tea or coffee, but kept me waiting 30 minutes for my appointment .Eventually I was taken in by Shavina in a partitioned room which was cold and quite small.During the facial Shavina couldn't stop talking ,but about her health and business problems which isn't encouraging as a customer. On my second appointment I got there to find that shavina was offsick. The poor hairdresser was on her own with a client.I had travelled over an hour,so I wasn't pleased that I hadn't got a call, but after showing my disappointment and the kindness of the lady who was having her hair dyed the hairdresser fitted me in for a quick 25min appointment which was ok under the circumstances. Even she was disappointed and explained she had been trying to get hold of both owners ,but had got no answer.she felt she was lumbered on her own to cope.I'm sure that's not great for health and safety regulations. On ringing for my third appointment I got Shavina on the phone I explained my experiences, but rather than pacify a unhappy customer she was rude, aggressive and defensive not giving me a chance to speak.her answer to the solution was for me not to bother coming and no refund was due.Unfortunately a refund was due as I hadn't received what I paid for. After speaking to groupon customer service they refunded me otherwise I may have taken the issue further. Considering it's Shavina's own business she will learn from the negative comments by so many.

If you’re thinking about getting your lashes done here, then I strongly urge you to seek somewhere else! I have been getting my lashes done for a few years now in various different salons around London, and never have I ever experienced such diabolical customer service.

The lady who did my lashes (the owner) not only took double the length of time that any other lash technician I have ever had has taken, but she also managed to get a drop of the glue remover into my eye, this stung a lot, I didn’t feel this worth complaining about (even though this can be very damaging to you eyes!), as all I cared about was that my lashed looked fabulous and lasted. After 2 hours and 15mins they were finally done, and yes, they did look fabulous and neat, I was initially very pleased despite the length of time spent doing them.

However, within just a few days a lot of the lashes had fallen out, leaving very noticeable gaps, then within one week most were all gone. For me they normally they last at least 6 weeks. I called the salon one week after the appointment to report that something must have gone wrong, however the phone just rang out, I continued to call each day for the next 4 days, no answer each time, also the answering machine was too full to take any messages. I finally got them to answer on the Sunday (a week and a half after the appointment). I was very polite and just explained that perhaps something had gone wrong, and could I come in to have someone take a look and rectify the problem… I spoke with the owner/manager who was extremely rude and said there is no way this was her mistake, and basically called me a liar, then said if I had called sooner after the appointment then maybe they could have done something, to which I explained I had but no-one picked up my call for 4 days, which she just said ‘well that’s impossible’… helpful! She then rambled on to me about how she had a trapped nerve in her back and work was very hard for her at the moment… I’m sorry but this was completely irrelevant to why I was calling, no offence but at this stage I really couldn’t care less about the in’s and outs of her medical problems, a bit unprofessional not to mention a bit odd, no? … Basically she would not let me have a word in edge ways, and the conversation went no-where, as she refused to do anything about it, although did say I can book to come in and have them re-done for full price…. Pah! Nice right?!... At that price, I think I’ll go else where thank-you very much!

If you buy something and it breaks, due to no fault of the buyer, then you either get a re-funded or the product is replaced, that is how it works… obviously Caprice Hair and Beauty are unfamiliar with basic customer service.

I have never written a review but my visit to Caprice made me rethink. I wish I had read the other reviews prior to visiting. It all started with my booking on the phone. The lady who spoke to me was cold, and very very unhelpful. I tried to clarify a price on the phone and she assured me there would be no problems.

I arrived and needed advice on parking times and when I walked in I was told at the desk "I don't know anything about parking". I was then told I would have to pay extra and not the agreed price. The owner Shabina then agreed to pay the price I initially agreed on the phone (I thought finally some sense) but this changed after the treatment was completed and was told to pay more.
During my treatment they talked about other clients, not politely and whispered when my eyes where shut during treatment.
I never once was rude or raised my voice at her. I was terribly polite.

She also lied that she didn't own the business and her boss had cameras on her!

Even if you get a Groupon offer I would pay a little more and go elsewhere.

AVOID!!!!!!

I went with my patner at Caprice hair and beauty to have a hair treatment, wash cut and blowdry. The staffs were very lovely and friendly. We had a such a pleasant and relaxing time. My hair cut and blowdry were spot on. Just what I wanted as I was going to a party later on that day. Always had trouble with hairdressers when it comes to my hair but their I was so happy with the finish that I would definitely recommand this salon. The hair treatment was very good as well as it left my hair very light soft and healthy. Of course if I need my hair to look healthy all the time I need to have the treatment more often and the price at Caprice hair and beauty is very offordable so why not? My hair deserves it thats what my partner says too :) I saw people coming for eyelash extensions too and wile I was there I was lucky to see the finish and it was just gorgeous. So since the manager offered me a 50% off on my next visit I booked myself for the EYELASH EXTENSIONS £50 ONLY!!! Thank you guys and I will definitely come back for my next hair cut too!!! Veyry happy

Booked in for a wax, as my usual place was booked out for two days, and was told cost would be £10, which is surprisingly cheap.
When I turned up, cost changed to £30, as I was desperate, I stayed, bad move.
The lady was really friendly but when I said it was hurting because she kept going over the same areas repeatedly, she said she wasn’t. Not being funny, but it is actually happening to me, before my eyes.
Result looked ok but was sore.
I will ensure to book my normal place in advance.
