Whenever we visit Torquay we love the Model Village in Babbacome. It is the best model village we have come across. Always being updated and a fun place to explore. Close to the Oddiscombe Cliffs and a few other attractions you can happily spend a good day in this part of town. We often try to stay in a sea view apartment/ hotel nearby as the sea views are so lovely. If you hold on to your ticket/stamp on hand, you can return to the Model Village in the evening to see the buildings at night. Wonderful.
I love this place. I remember going when was a kid - a long time ago - and then I took my 4. They loved it. Never seen anything quite like it. The info says a walk around takes 1 hour - we took 3. There's so much detail to laugh at, and just plain fun to be had.
I went in the Summer, when it had a night time session too.
Just enjoy.

A great Torbay attraction and its been going since time and momoral, its a great day out for the family and often there is night time attraction so you can view the model village by day and return the same evening to see the light show or other events they have throughout the year
I remember going as a child and now i am taking my children and its is fantasic at chritmas when they cover the whole village in snow
Great attraction and always worth a visit, It is slightly expensive but an enjoyable day

I enjoyed a concession discount as I am a uni student so I paid £7.xx, which is really reasonable considering that there were loads to enjoy in this village!
I thought Babbacombe Model Village covered virtually every aspect of what we see if real life - train stations, shopping centres, people's daily commute. The daytime/nighttime difference is really cool too - and they hold different events according to different seasons! There's no doubt people selling the attraction have creative minds =]
There are quite many trees in the attraction and I am sure you find visiting it as comfortable as I have thought=]
Getting to and from BMV is also convenient - take the no. 12 or 32 bus which stops very near the site and will stop at Torquay strand (near Living coast).
P.S. In the souvenir shop there are even site-catered postcards!!

A really enjoyable attraction. Try and visit in December if you can- the whole attraction gets covered with snow and transforms into a Winter Wonderland!

My kids love it here. The entrance fee is fairly reasonable. It is even more reasonable if you upgrade to a weekly pass or an annual pass.
It is rather steep but it is do-able! We always spot something new whenever we go. It is brilliant at night when it is lit-up. As part of the entrance price if you go during the day you can return later as once you have paid for the day you can come and go as many times as you please for the day.
It is also well worth going to the winter-wonderland in the run-up to christmas as it is transformed by lots of snow and icicles.

Can be interesting if its your first time there but overall a bit boring.Abit expensive and hard to push a pram around.handy for parking and good at christmas when they cover it with snow!

We had a wonderful morning here during our honeymoon earlier this year. The entrance price seemed very reasonable though I don’t remember exactly what it was. The atmosphere inside was lovely, the models amazing. I really enjoyed finding all 26 letterland characters hidden among the models, while my husband loved the trains which run around the models.

We love this place, the entry fee includes one free carer for disabled which was a good thing because this was quite steep and hilly at the start. The models are amazing and there’s a great quiz where you hunt for letters hidden amongst the models. We all loved it and would happily go again.

Nice little tourist attraction for all the family. Gets quite busy most of the year as its popular with coach parties. Lots of attention to detail with the models. The only downside is its pretty expensive.
