I had a good time, the staff were attentive and I enjoyed the food and drink, especially the deep fried raviioli served up as "nacho's", they were an incredible bit of creative food and tasted divine! will happily go back just for that.

This place is so not worth the prices they charge. We went here as a small group near Christmas, as a treat for the 7 of us. The place was very busy, as you would expect at that time of year. It seems they did not expect it though. When we arrived at 7:25pm for our table we were coldly told to come back for the time we booked for. When we said that was in 5 minutes, they said Yes, come back in 5 minutes- no warmth or happy to see customers.
We ordered wine with our foodand I had to get up and speak to the waitress to ask where our wine was as we were 3/4 through with eating our main meals (after starters) and the wine had still not arrived.
When the manager came over to speak to us she didn't apologise or offer us a free drink as an apology or anything- she just said 'we're very busy'. Well, yesss, you would be and they should have had much more staff and been a little friendlier to their own customers. Such incredibly bad service it was shocking really.
The food was totally mediocre. We spend over 250 quid here and I would never go back. Disgraceful really.

Somehow (given Italian food is one of the worlds most vegetarian friendly cuisines) apart from a salad there are absolutely no vegetarian mains. 9 or 10 pasta dishes and all sea-food or meat. Not something you’d expect from a chain restaurant owned by a chef who is very vocal about the benefits of a bit of vegetarian food!

Also very embarrassing if you, like me, booked a group meal with several vegetarians in the group. It made us look thoughtless.

Aside from this the people who could have mains enjoyed them. However the restaurant lacks atmosphere and is very noisy.

Overall, for the price definitely would not recommend. You’d be better of at Zizzi, Carluccio’s or even Pizza Express.

Food was ok, but we waited almost 1h… . on top they forgot our starter. dish sizes are small but prices quite high (middlerange). netheretheless, the service staff was very nice. we would not recommend it!
