Very dark inside, floor unswept and tables not wiped down. At 1.30pm on a Saturday there was hardly anything left. it obviously only caters to regulars and must be doing well during these difficult times that they don’t need to attract new customers.

Hi,
Gillespies Cafe is now under new ownership. Our opening hours have been extended and you can come in and be assured of a warm welcome between 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday and from 9am – 5pm on Saturday. (We are closed Sundays).
Along with serving fantastic coffee and other drinks, we have a selection of fresh cakes daily, baguettes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, homemeade soups, and baked potatoes, and we also serve a breakfast menu all day.
We do hope you will come and visit us soon. We love to see our regulars but also delighted to welcome anyone who stops by : )
