Review of Fairburn Ings from 20 July 2012
Beautiful place to spend a morning. I did a walk from Fairburn village round the large lake and ended up at the Visitor Centre, where I had a lovely cup of coffee and read about the reserve. Plenty for all the family to do and see and definitely worth a visit on a sunny day!

Review of Fairburn Ings from 30 November 2008

Fabulous RSPB nature reserve. Huge, with many lakes & walks. My children love to go pond dipping & there are organised ones regularly too, with staff nearby to identify the creatures. Small shop with ice-creams etc for sale, with a few benches to sit in the sun & eat your ice-cream. One of our favourite places to go locally :)
