Nuglas 10 yr. Conservatory Guarantee not worth the paper it is written on!!
We had a Nuglas conservatory fitted in 2007 and having contacted them recently about a couple of problems we have noticed, we were advised that they went into administration in 2008. The Directors apparently bought the business but not the existing guarantees and now have only a skeleton staff and would therefore charge us a £150 call out charge, plus labour and costs to correct the problems – “so it would be cheaper to get our own builder.”
However, the Nuglas website STILL makes the claim that they have been in business for over 30 years. Clearly this is untrue.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE!!

AVOID these people. They took a deposit of £385 for a new door/ porch over a year ago. They finally confessed to me six months later that the door had not been ordered and that they couldnt afford to carry out the job. They have given us 2 cheques that have bounced. One year later I have no door, no deposit refund and they are still taking deposits and work from innocent people. I have not even received an apology. I am currently taking them to court,.
