As National Trust members, we totally stumbled on this gem of a place whilst trying to find somewhere to go after the tide at the local beach had curtailed our sandcastle building a bit earlier than expected! It really is a bit hidden away, but the gardens here are truly spectacular, and there are acres and acres to explore. For kids it is an adventure waiting to happen and there are lots of different walks to follow.
There is a small cafe/restaurant which serves cream teas to die for!
Highly recommended, although you probably do need a nice day to go and appreciate the beauty of the place.
