Good country park/ walk spoiled by the amount of dog pooh as you go round. Park is located to the east of the town , bordering onto the old railway line and the golf course. Plenty of parking spaces. Picnic areas. Well supported whenever there is a function like the Halloween trail.

Love this park, it’s family friendly, dog friendly, walker friendly, runner friendly…infact it’s everyone friendly.

Beautiful surroundings too, plenty of paths that take you off on little trails around the park. My daughters particularly like the path that follows the brook, it takes them over a little bridge where we spend ages playing 'pooh sticks’.

There’s a charming little visitor centre which opens at the weekends, they provide lots of free colouring activities for the kids, which has been great when we’ve been caught out by summer showers.

Definately worth a visit.

A very nice park on the outskirts of Haverhill just off the railway track, near the council tip. They have a little shop and ice cream kiosk on site. They have the usual kids swings, slides and climbing frame equipment that you would find in a kiddies park.
What makes it nice is the amount of space around the park, there is loads of room for picnics and walks. Being so close to old railway line its a good place to start off on a walk down the railway line to Sturmer or Clare.
They also have regular events throughout the year, such as the spooky Halloween trail which is always good fun.
