Rebel PinUp

Good experience at Rebel Pinup, friendly staff, Craig cut my hair just as I wanted then I enjoyed a coffee in the adjoining Outlaws Yacht Club which is a lovely environment to hang out in. Would definitely go back.

I love Rebel Pin Up and have been going there since it opened. Craig always does my hair and makes me feel like a princess when I leave. All the staff are friendly and warm and I adore the shopfit of the salon. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the boring homogenous salons and into somewhere creative, vibrant and fun! 10/10

After only hearing good things about Rebel Pin Up I booked an appointment for a restyle. I came in, no warm welcome, which always worries me!

Sat down and I asked the hairdresser for the same style I had, but shorter, my layers cut it, much shorter on one side and specifically asked for a heavy thick fringe, even telling the hairdresser I hated my foreheard. I had a sweeping fringe which after saying I wanted the same style but shorter was quite obvious I wanted to keep it sweeping but maybe I really needed to reiterate that.

Went and got my hair washed, the quickest wash ever and I don't believe my hair was conditioned. She chopped bits off and i felt fine so far. Then she dried it putting no protection heat spray on at all! My hair was SO dry and static-y it was unreal. The hair she was cutting was sticking to the brush in massive clumps. The ends of my hair are ruined, dry, split, terrible.

Despite asking for a restyle she had me in and out in half an hour! I think thats unacceptable and she spent no time at all neating up areas around my ear on the short side (my hair is asymetric with what should be a very short neat side on the left) I had to go home and cut the hair from around my ears. My fringe is ruined, I'm going to have to let it grow before I can do anything with it. It is not a full thick heavy fringe at all and can barely be swept due to no hair existing on the left and a random long part of hair in the middle!

The hair dresser barely said anything to me throughout the process, she didn't talk me through what she was doing, she didn't ask me how i wear my hair, she didn't ask me anything about my hair at all!

I am so so so upset that I have a crap fringe that I can't do anything with, a messy, unprofessional and damanged hair cut.

The hair cut should have cost £40 but as a student you get 50% off. If this is the student standard of hair cut.... NEVER GO HERE!

Amazing! It's so nice to go to a salon with some creativity instead of the boring generic salons... great staff too!
