Unfortunately, we decided to leave rather earlier than I had hoped as, although the cocktails were excellent, the service was very poor and the atmosphere was somewhat raucous with children in the bar and a hen-night or birthday party at the far end of the bar.

Whilst I am sure it was nice to have a busy bar on a Saturday afternoon, given that there were a number of staff on duty I had hoped not to have to seek out and ‘flag down’ the waiter for service, everytime we wanted a new round of drinks. I noticed also that others sitting at tables were equally frustrated, with many ending up queueing at the bar, to order.

To add insult to injury, we were then charged an extra 12.5% for "service’. I’m afraid you really only have the right to presume that your customers would be happy paying this, if the service was up to scratch. the service experienced on saturday, certainly was not.

Sadly, we won’t be back in a hurry.
