A friend and I had a tooth whitening session here... you could not see any difference at all!!!!
We decided on the day to have another go and they asked me to pay upfront in which I did.
Later on we decided not to have another go for safety reasons and asked for a refund on the treatment we were not going to have...... It took 5 weeks of constant phone calls to them before they would refund us!!!

I have been having IPL with Nadia for the last few months. I admit I was a bit cautious about the treatment, as I too bought it on a Groupon, but my worries have been unfounded. Nadia has gone out of her way to ensure that I am satisfied and is nothing less than thorough. It is early days with treatment but I have noticed a difference with the regrowth. So far, so good. When I shared my concerns with Nadia, she was very empathetic and advised me how to achieve the results I want. There is a bit of selling, but at the end of the day, she's only trying to earn a living, buy if you want or don't buy! There is no pressure.

The new premises in the Light Hotel on Church St are much nicer than the King St premises. I haven't had any problems with appointments - they send me text reminders 48hrs before my actual appointment and book me in for me next visit whilst I am there. I would recommend MediSpa and Nadia, just give them a chance!

The experience was horrible, horrible, horrible! I had a groupon voucher for teeth whitening and as soon as I entered they told me that there may be no difference in shade of teeth as they cannot determine the results. I was dissapointed because why did I spend all that money for 45minutes of sitting under a laser and come out with no noticeable results!? After the treatment was done, I was 'dismissed' and found that there was absolutely no change in the whiteness of my teeth, and instead, they where left extremely sensitive and painful. I will never Ever be buying groupon vouchers for beauty treatments and never coming back to the medi spa. I do not recommend it.

I was soooo looking forward to a day of pampering when I booked this appointment. My friends had paid for a spa day for me through group on and i had added a few extras to make it in to a full afternoon of primping!

On arrival I was asked to fill out a questionnaire with some very personal information (more than usual) and then i was shown into a room buy therapist Nadia.

I had booked for a facial, neck back and shoulder massage and a foot rub, followed by a shellac manicure and pedicure.

Once inside the room Nadia asked me some even more personal questions and then proceeded to rub soap into my eyes which left them burning for the next 2 hours and then rubbed my feet for about a minute and a half followed by more facial rubbing... not a real facial!!!!!!

The whole time i was in the room Nadia kept trying to see me products... not just a couple of minutes, for the whole hour i was having treatment. She even laid it on thick and told me she was a single parent and had been for 6 years. Her son isn't well and she has diabetes. We all have issues, but i don't wish to discuss them with someone who's supposed to be giving me a relaxing beauty treatment, especially when i don't know her from Adam!

At the end I asked about my massage which i was told was part of my facial?????? Ever heard of this? Me either!

Once i left the room, expecting my nails to be done, I was told the treatment was over and i was free to go???? I asked about my nails and was told that they had not got me booked in for that???? So... they spent over an hour trying to sell me stuff and then the bits i was willing to pay extra for they didn't booked in???? A great way to run a business if you ask me!

I spoke to the lady at the desk and advised her that they could have had lots of repeat business from me if they'd not ruined it. She offered me free treatments on another day, but i swear, i will never step over the threshold again, free or not!

In response to the above my husband treated me to a Groupon voucher last year. I had my tratment from Nadia, I found her to be extremely professional and caring. I can assure you that her treatment is 5 star and she is a highly respectful therapist. Nadia is excellant at when it comes to providing Advanced Skincare advice. I think its the lowest of low to target people on a personal level, for marketing purposes.

Nadia clearly you are an inspirational person and I thank you very much for sorting my skin out… Can’t wait for my next facial appiontment. :)

Unfortunately i totally disagree, Nadia was a lovely person, no doubt about that. Unfortunately the service was substandard and as i heard from my friend this weekend, the over pushy sales pitch and disorganisation have not been rectified.
Thank you for your comment, however, I am an entertainment director on a cruise ship and have no wish to disparage media spa for marketing purposes.

Dreadful – unprofessional staff, mis managed appointments no apology. Left standing outside in the cold for 15 minutes because the couldn’t be bothered to answer either the phone or the intercom, so I had to get another company in the same building to let the spa (and I use the term loosely) staff know I was outside. Once inside I was told they had no record of my appointment – no sorry no nothing. I should have known that I was on a highway to nowhere as the 2 people just in front of me had suffered much the same treatment and were also leaving without having received any treatments. Stay away save your money.

Was warmly welcomed when I arrived and speedily taken into a warm and cosy treatment room. Therapist made me feel relaxed and comfortable, will certainly be back for Nadia’s signature massage again!
