I don't have a particularly exotic cut but even so I've never had so much care and attention taken over getting my barnet under control! Damian does a top job every time for a very reasonable price - never rushed, the shop's always got a nice chilled atmosphere and the whole online booking thing is just the icing on the cake.
Had to giggle at the 1 star review - a competitor perhaps as I can't fault BB, easily the best place I've ever had a cut from and I'll continue to keep going back.

Damian was the absolute most skillful barber I have ever encountered. I tried 4 or 5 other barbers in the Manchester area over the last few months and by far this establishment is the best. I will continue to get my haircut there period. The shave was remarkable. Don't waste your time looking for a better place because there is not one around.

I went in for a beard trim to neaten up for a Christmas do. Damian did an excellent job and was very meticulous.

Terrible terrible service, got a cut here and they totally messed it up, cut way too short. Staff have no skill they just buzz, I can do it myself better!

It was late on a Saturday afternoon and the local barber in Wilmslow was shut at 4pm. Some others were open til 6pm but being Wilmslow they were charging silly prices. I had a look on my phone and did a search for barbers in Manchester. I came across Barbers Boutique and was immediately impressed by the fact they had a dedicated smart phone website, their opening times, their price list and the ability to book an appointment online.
I travelled the 12 miles to Islington Wharf which is easy to get to. They are easy to spot as they are on the main ring road in Ancoats and are located at the foot of one of the new swanky buildings in the area. They were really friendly and offered me a drink of my choice. The cut was great and the service was excellent. I will happily travel the extra distance for service that good.
I will be back and will check out their other services. 5 star!

I would like to thank you to all at Barbers Boutique. I arrived back in Manchester on Sunday and desperately needed a haircut prior to an important meeting. After reading reviews on a number of the gents grooming establishments which have sprung up in Manchester since I lived here many years ago I decided on the Barbers Boutique which proved a tremendous choice.
Damian, the owner and head barber was attentive, professional and generally a nice guy to speak too. The cut was first-class and I would certainly recommend you try out the Barbers Boutique for your next cut. I normally use an expensive but superb barber in London however in future I may organise my business trips in the North to coincide when I next need a cut. I was very impressed, great cut at a very good price and very good service, quickly done. What more do you require.
Can I just add that Joanne who contacted me with location details and who confirmed the appointment is also training to become a barber under the professional eye of Damian and needs some heads to work on, so please give her the opportunity!

Damian is a Great Barber & such a Decent Guy. Always makes me feel relaxed & we put the world to rights.
Joanne’s massage was amazing, certainly got the blood flowing & I came out feeling destressed.

Went for the first time today and the place is great.
Damian expertly trimmed my beard and gave my head a wet shave.
Pertfectly done, very relaxing place to be. Very reasonably priced too.
I’m already booked in for my next appointment.

Great cut everytime…
Last time I went for a cut I pushed the boat out and had the full hot towel shave and a head massage. Both were excellent and at the end I felt extremely relaxed and very happy with my new look.
Both were very good value and I spent a good amount of time at the hands of the friendly husband and wife duo

I went in today for a hair cut and face shape up/shave, the barber Damien’s a great guy to talk to and im always happy with the cut so would Definitly recommend this place.
I also had a 20 minute back, neck and shoulder massage after my cut today, felt great and the oil’s smelt good to… So all round I was happy!!

popped in for a hour long massage this week on a day off, was a great way to unwind and the sented oils were very relaxing. Joanne gave me a great massage and the chat is always top when i bob in.

I had a hair and beard cut on the 17th December and would definitely recommend Barbers Boutique. The real reason for my visit was to get my rather thick, messy beard sorted out, and I had expected a quick trim via the clippers. It was a great surprise then to see the care that Damian put into his work. My beard came out in great shape and I can say for certain that I have never experienced such a close, careful shave.
Unfortunately I don’t live in Manchester but if I did I would definitely make this my regular barber shop with or without a beard! Damian is a really welcoming guy who takes the time to do a great job.
