Review of Garth Bayley Art from 19 November 2011

What an amazing selection of original art by Garth Bayley. Garth’s figurative work (both human and a fantastic collection of vividly coloured cows) and landscapes alike provoke a sense of movement and joyful appreciation. I was particularly drawn to the statuesque nature of his cows and the wonderful elegance of his dancers.

Garth’s use of joyful colour and the scale of many of his pieces give his work an immediate presence. His series of paintings of cows, reflecting the understanding and honesty of hours of close observation, are among those of my favourites. Prue Pye
