Jury's Inn

I loved this hotel. It was fab to be one of the first to stay there. It is right in the Albert Dock and only a short walk into town. The staff were very friendly, which you expect from liverpudlians it feels safe around this area and looking out of the windows at night across the city is great. Only had breakfast in the hotel which was devine.

Stayed in june for the westlife concert at the echo arena, omg was fantastic, beds were comfy the room was big and we had a good view to the arena, so close to albert dock which we had a lovely strll round, drinks were priced same as a club and what made it safe was night staff on the door, wicked hotel stayin again in dec with the folks, xmas shopping …

This is a very new Jurys, in fact last time I was at Albert dock, the whole area was a car park! It is right next to the new Echo Arena, and has access and discount at a multi storey car park right next door.

It still has new carpet smell!

The staff seem rather poorly trained. I was short changed at the bar, the waitress forgot to give me the menus but asked me for my order anyway, the table wasn’t clean until I asked for it to be done, and the waitress asked me if I had finished my meal although I still had a fork in my hand. I blame lack of training and experience really, so it’s the managers fault.

The room was basic, but the bed was nice and high, which I prefer (my one at home is made out of scaffolding, so I “get down” from bed) and the decor light and airy.

Well….. it’s a chain. You pretty much know what you get and it is never as personal a service as an independent.
