Pets At Home

Pets at home is a huge pet shop. THey sell all kinds of goods for animals such as cages, hutches, rabbit runs, foods, dog beds, collars, dog/cat toys. They also sell some pets - rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters - very cute to look at!

great store for all types of pet care and accessories! i have cats and fish and this store offer variety of stuff for both. My little boy loves looking at the rabbits, hamsters etc. Aquarium section is great and they offer a very good service, give advise and check that what you are buying is suitable for your tank etc.

This Pets at Home store is a very large pet shop. ALong with stocking a large variety of cat, dog, and small animal foods, they additionally stock animal cages, hutches, and a variety of cat and dog toys etc. Pets at home also sell some pets eg hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and guniea pigs. The staff are freindly and willing to help you find what you are looking for.

I have a cat called star and this place is just brill to buy him cat toys and food. Also i like to buy a cat called muffin some toys aswell. Star and muffin love to play. So if you have a cat, i recommend you buy toys from here!

i have bought 2 hamsters from pets at home and have never had any problems
they have a wide range which covers many animals including cats,dogs,birds and fish
i always find the staff very helpful

Easy to find a variety of foods for your pets and they usually have a few special offers on the expensive branded products. It looks like they’ve employed more staff as the store looked tidier on my last visit on Wednesday and there were two staff on the till too.

On a health & safety point, ladders were propped up aginst the higher shelves with lids running in and around the store. Owners take note.

I wouldn’t buy a pet through any pet store that is part of a chain but they all looked well on the day I visited.

Pets At Home have a reasonable range of stuff and you will generally find what you’re looking for, but I don’t think that they care much for pets, and the pets that they are selling at their store.

I visited this store to view the aquarium with my boyfriend, and was surprised to see lots of the fish in a poor condition. In addition to that, there were several dead fish dotted around the different tanks that the staff either hadn’t noticed or couldn’t be bothered to remove. I’ve never witnessed this in any other pet shops.

As well as that, the staff seem to be in such a hurry just to sell you exactly what you want, with little or no regard for the fish’s wellbeing…..and once we’d bought the fish the man was in such a hurry that he almost dropped them all on the floor!
