Reflexion of the soul

Reflexology was something i always wanted to try out and jumped at the opportunity for my good friend to give me a few sessions. I had always suffered from constipation and often found it very uncomfortable, so i wanted to give reflexology a go to help ease my problem. Being pregnant last year exacerbated my constipation so sought after some help from Imogen Connolly. After having a few sessions i had noticed a great difference and felt the benefits straight away, leaving me feel more relaxed and relived. I found the sessions very therapeutic. I also had Imogen work on my feet close to my due date to help stimulate and bring on labour, and i am happy to say within 24 hours i had a very quick, relaxed birth. I feel confident to say that all those reflexology sessions i had when i was pregnant contributed to the calm birth of my baby boy.

In October 2010 I was asked to be a case study subject for Imogen Connolly whilst she trained in reflexology. I had always had a keen interest in holistic therapy but had never really explored my feet before. She had decided she wanted to learn a new skill and needed people with health complaints. I jumped at the chance to have 10 weeks of reflexology and knew she would have a field day with all my problems. I don’t think Imogen was quite prepared for the history of health problems I had suffered with, including IBS and endometriosis. After a very successful treatment program not only were a lot of my symtoms alleviated, but I soon discovered I was pregnant. I truly believe Imogen had a huge part to play in this as she did a lot of fertility work on me. She continued to treat me throughout my pregnancy and only 2 days before I went into labour. She truly has magic hands. Thanks again Imogen.
