I couldn’t agree more with this review. Customer service simply does not exist except from a team member called William. Our horrendous experience stretched from July 2012 until October 2012 when we eventually got our money back through the help of Trading Standards and our credit card company. The tank we ordered was delivered on a pallet and I signed for it ‘unchecked’ as my husband was at work. On opening it we found it was smashed (with the heavy stones stored within the glass). Basically Seapets tried to blame us for damaging it and said they would not be replacing it unless we paid for another tank.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Recently ordered the fluval Roma 125l as new to owning an aquarium. Had seen the same tank and cabinet as a sort of combo deal in local stores but the cost was sometimes upto £200 more than seapets, also with my order I got a load of essential goodies to help me get started. Delivery was much faster than i thought it would have been so that just made the whole experience nice and easy from ordering deal on website to receiving goods.
Tank is now cycled and stocked with fish. No hassle at all in this order from seapets. My dad has now since ordered the same deal, the cabinet was discontinued but a replacement was given and all the other goodies so he is over the moon with it.
overall just a real easy and pleasant experience which is really what you need when starting into keeping fish, thanks again seapets and keep those deals coming as I might be on again for a bigger tank.

I ordered a fluval 90 aquarium and stand, this was the best price on the net at the time, very happy with the tank and it was delivered in no time. Excellent value for money and service. Most of all I'm really happy with the product, will be using seapets again.

Ordered something from them which showed as having 1 in stock on their website, paid by credit card. After 3 days I was expecting my item but got an email from them instead saying that it was out of stock and it wouldn't be back in stock for 2-3 weeks and they'd send it then.
I emailed back to say that this wasn't good enough and that I should have been informed within 24 hours of placing my order, I requested an immediate refund.
I had an email back and it stated that a refund had been processed and could take up to 10 days to show on my statement!! Even VISA themselves state that it should take no more than 3 days! It's been over 10 days now and still no refund!
Anyway, I've now sent them another email threatening either a VISA chargeback or a County Court claim for the amount...I await their response.
AVOID this company, they appear dishonest and obviously have no regard for even a basic level of customer service.

If only they could fulfil all that their website promises.
No delivery after two weeks, two emails and two phone calls. Customer service is a premium rate number and they just aren't bothered – it's out of our control and we aren't going to try and help by replying to emails, updating the website or informing customers that they actually can't get hold of a product when they say they can.
Worse than that I'm still waiting and from the other reviews where a refund is offered and the order cancelled, but then no refund is actually forthcoming I'm weary of that too.
Won't be using them again, and suggest you don't risk it either

Very easy to deal with, mega quick delivery. Happy to deliver to my family of dogs when they were in kennels for months. Would definitely recommend Seapets if you're looking for a helpful company with good healthy products.

Seapets is a very quick service. I order my dog food every month and it is delivered direct to my door at no extra cost. Much easier than carrying a huge bag around the shop. The food is always in stock unlike other websites and I have no reservations about recommending them to pet lovers everywhere

Needed a new aquarium so i had to go to a company that i trusted and that was seapets , went on their website to view them and the range of aquariums is quite impressive. . Quick and easy to order the item and best of all no delivery charges, the communication from them keeps you informed from start to finish. They advise you that upon delivery that you should open the box up and check the aquarium for any damage before you sign for it and the delivery driver helped me to do this, a word of praise should go to the delivery driver for helping me to carry the item and he even took the wooden pallet away for me .So once again i would like to thank seapets for the first-class service that i received from them again

I have used Seapets website for a number of years now and I would not consider using any other website. The speed of deivery, quality of products and the competitive prices, including free delivery over £34. I also enjoy the added Seapets Points incentive which enables me to have a discount on my orders.
Seapets is a 5 ***** website with 5***** service. My beautiful Doberman, Max, is healthy and happy thanks to Seapets quality products.

Order arrived within a couple of days and no damage to products. I have ordered some dog food which is one of the cheapest on the internet and some rabbit sticks that have been crumbled in the packet when I order from other sites. I will definitly be ordering again as you also get points that will knock some more money off future orders.

The web site is good. The shop however is unbelievable BAD. I have been in this shop many a time. Every single time i am shocked at the level of service given. The staff do not have a clue what they are talking about. they handle live creatures like rubbish and seem to think they are doing YOU a favour.

I am amazed by how fast these people can turn an order around - I have ordered at 4pm and received my goods at 8:30 the following morning. Can't beat the price either. There was one occasion when my order hadn't arrived after 24 hours, so I rang and could almost hear the embarrassment over the phone. There was a bit of waffle about contacting the shop and although I expected to wait a few more days due to some admin error, my goods arrived the next day. Can't complain.

I ordered a Sureflap Microchip cat flap from Seapets and I Received my order within two days.
I am very satisfied with Seapets service and the quality of the Sureflap cat flap.As the hole size required for fitting of the cat flap was the same as the one fitted ,it was easy to exchange and once the cats microchipped was logged into the catflaps memory it works perfectly.
I will definately order from Seapets again.

I ordered various items on the 17th of December 2012 and I am still waiting; it is now the 14/01/2013. I have contacted seapets and they informed me (after I contacted them) that they were out of stock on two items and waiting for these. I called again and Catherine told me that if the items were not in stock by LAST Tuesday, they would send my order express post which should be with me the day after (I'm STILL waiting)...
I will never use Seapets again, I would rather pay a little extra and have my items in my hand than wait a whole month. Terrible customer service, No email to say they were out of stock; when purchased online the items were In stock; didn't send available items and then forward the missing items at a later date; didn't have a clue when items would be in stock; and didn't send me my items when they were promised, even after a whole month of waiting. Incompetent and insufficient, never again!!!

My usual brand of dog food was discontinued where I usually order from, and I found it to cheapest here with free delivery, I placed the order over teh Christmas break, not expecting fast delivery, but it all arrived 36 hours later so I was extremely impressed adn will be using the site again.
