Archer Street bar is a welcome addition to the cocktail bar scene in South Soho.
It is very much a Soho bar with two personalities! Approach along Archer Street to find an elegant, almost Hotel bar like lounge, with a gentle but sophisticated buzz upon entry. It has an exclusive, stylish feel to it but without the Members club policy or bravado. They serve deliciously well crafted cocktails but be prepared to splash the cash at this Soho bar.

Soho's newest bar offers a sophisticated cocktail lounge with a twist. The Archer Street cocktail Bar is set over two floors of distressed and shabby chic elegance and offers a cocktail bar and lounge with a unique live entertainment. The talented bar staff break into song and dance throughout the evening but what could be gimmicky instead only contributes to the exuberant atsmosphere of this high-end but laid-back establishment which even brings the first Billecart-Salmon champagne bar to the Big Smoke. Get ready for serious cocktails as well as downstairs banquettes, booths and alcoves that will serve as a seductive place to party until late.

Went with friends to this lovely bar which looked more like a great luunch cafe. However, there was little in the way of food at the time. As it was newly opened, food must have become secondary to their designer drinks which were on the weak side although different and tasty. Wasn't terribly impressed with the DJ or the concept of singing wait staff...kind of old school, boring and unappropriate for the lovely setting. would much rather have heard some fabulous jazz trio or pianist/vocalist...
As for the downstairs, a big waste of space, would function much better as a show room....but they decided otherwise. I hope they do well.....the public is so fickle and demanding.

Stumbled upon this bar with a few friends of mine after looking for somewhere different for a night out, the cocktails are lovely and the singing bar staff are a great touch.
Particularly loved the dj who was really fun dancing and singing along playing lots of cheese and who made a fuss of us, very sweet.
Will definitly be going again soon.

Last Thursday some friends and I had just been to the theatre and we did not want the evening to end, which is when a friend mentioned this beautiful new bar that had just opened in Soho. The atmosphere was fantastic, a real buzz. The cocktails were delicious and the decor was wonderful. My friends and I particularly loved the dancing and singing bar staff, it was great to carry on the sense of performance and theatre throughout the entire night. We will all be definitely be returning very soon.

I went to Archer street on Friday night with six friends who had never been before. Everyone absolutely loved the bar, the service was brilliant, the drinks delicious and the cheese such a lovely extra touch you just don’t find at any other Soho bars. The all singing, all dancing bar staff brought a real sense of fun and the Dj played some great 1990’s music which got us all singings along. A fantastic experience and I know not only myself but all my friends will be returning.
