That’s really surprising, I had a wonderful experience when I visited the Brixton branch…I enjoyed the pampering and time they spent on my feet and nails…many places rush treatments simply to get you out and the next one in. I enjoyed the peaceful and soothing music and found the premises in good decorative order…I consider to have quite high standards myself, usually visit salons which are more expensive and found the quality of service to be just as good. I wouldn’t right them off so quickly…I think one of the best salons in South West London…anyway I love it! :-)

After moving south of the river, my first waxing experience was with Organic Beauty. I have been living in Crystal Palace for over six months and I won’t go anywhere else but Organic Beauty for all of my beauty needs.
On arrival you can always expect to be greeted by a friendly and personable individual on reception. If you are unsure about any stage of your selected treatment process, the experienced beauty practitioners will clue you in. I love to ask questions so I know exactly what goes on my skin – they put up with my 101 questions!
I usually see Organic Beauty for a hot wax treatment, eyebrow shape and tint. I have a particularly low threshold for pain. When you’re in the hands of people that are extremely knowledgeable on their trade, they know how to limit the level of discomfort involved with these normally painful treatments (eyebrow tinting is the painless one of three I mentioned, I’m not that big of a baby)
Keep it up Organic Beauty! I can see big things for you on the horizon :)

The receptionist was welcoming, offered me a drink and engaged in great conversation.
The beautician Abida was incredible. We discussed shape, size and thickness and she offered some great suggestions. Without being pushy she up-sold an eye brow tint and explained how it would improve my eyebrow shape. I took her advice and the results were incredible!
I have the most beautiful arches and can't wait to show my friends at her wedding on friday

I have been to the Brixton location twice now, once during the week for a 630pm appointment and once for a 10am appointment. Both times I arrived to find the salon locked. The first time one of the girls had gone out to get food while the other was with a client, when she returned to let me in, the wax was cold and I had to wait longer. The second time I called when the gate/shutter was still down at 10am (the only number which does not contact the Brixton location directly) to be told "She lives in North London, she'll be there shortly" (I am sorry, no excuse). She did arrive shortly she didn't apologize for the fact that I had been waiting outside and then told me it would be another 10 minutes to heat up the wax. I made the first appointment of the day to avoid having to wait, if you are not ready for clients at 10am, don't take 10am appointments. Maybe I am impatient, but tardiness, in my opinion, demonstrates a complete lack of respect, especially when it is not accompanied by the slightest apology.
The actual wax was average at best and for 30£ definitely not worth it. I understand that thirty 30£ isn't particularity expensive but when you spend more time waiting than being waxed, it leaves much to be desired. Most salons make an effort with stubborn hairs, here was really the bare minimum effort. Both times I found the wax particularly painful but that could be me.
All and all, I do not recommend this salon

I am a real happy mama with my new semi-permanent eyelashes. I have had nothing but WOW compliments. The best thing of all is I wear much less make-up so getting up and out in the morning is quicker. The service was excellent, the atmosphere relaxing and without hesitation I highly recommend!

I was really impressed the first time I went to Organic for a wax...so this time I came back and was even more pleased!! Great, friendly service but with a very clean, clinical feel: just what you want with waxing!! Very quick but very precise and superb result!

I love this place staff always really friendly. The best wax ive had. Ive tried a few places and Its been hard trying to find somewhere that does a decent Hollywood wax. Very pleased with the results everytime!

I had really high expectations for this place but left disappointed. I had read such good reviews I decided to switch from my normal salon which is much further away. I had a manicure and pedicure which took literally 2 hours- no exaggeration. Not only that but the girl who seemed inexperienced, rushed through my manicure because the whole thing was taking so long and she had a client waiting, so my nails are unevenly filed, and the coat is streaky- this particular polish probably needed 3 rather than two. I wanted a glitter polish but it was all dried up and the girl said it was too thick to use. Finally, when I paid the owner only gave me 20% off my pedicure, NOT the manicure, and the website clearly says 20% off first VISIT.
The salon is nice enough but in general they seem poorly staffed and I'll equipped for nails, especially pedicures, with only one small chair in the corner and a rather slap-dash set up, not to mention a limited range of polish colors (they are organic though, but there are a lot of organic polishes available).
If i had not been overcharged, and compensated for the amount of tome it took i would have reconsidered, but i will not be going back!

really amazing! have been looking for an affordable but well done brazilian waxing in london for ages, and finally found this.
waxing was done professionally and thoroughly, and i had hardly any skin irritation afterwards (which I usually get after cheap brazilian waxings). the lady was really considerate about what I wanted to be done (shape/size of triangle, warmth of wax, short pauses when I wanted a rest from the pain, length of the remaining hair....) - all in all AMAZING. i felt really comfortable and almost treated like a princess - for less than £30.

We had manicures and pedicures at the Organic Beauty Spa for my friend's 31st birthday and the service was very impressive. There was a big group of us and they managed availability well despite a last minute booking. We were treated to nibbles and chocolates while waiting and were even allowed to bring our own champagne to celebrate! The manicures were of a good standard but where there were long waiting times they took money off the price for us. I would definitely go back.

On arrival you’re met by some of the most amazingly angelic and uplifting music that immediately sets you at ease. The décor luscious green and deep chocolate colour scheme, makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an Asian safari haven. There’s really no place like it in the area. It offers a broad range of treatments, at such a high standard and reasonable prices. This is an unique and precious place.

Environment is good, clean and relaxing. First time you receive a 20% discount with tea.
Service is good, they're kind and helpful. Their technique is up to standard and she has good understanding your well being and body. They keep your body warm with comforting towels.
I enjoy the warm atmosphere in the room, however I've been a regular customer for massages but don't feel I'm getting my money's worth for the lady leaves me in the room between 10-20 minutes while she gets ready. She included the delayed time in my 1 hour massage session time.
They were very punctual with time on my first visit with the 20% discount.

I went to Organic Beauty for a few treatments and I have been going back ever since. The staff are polite and informative. I had an eyebrow wax which was precise and I was very happy with the results I loved the shape that they had given me.
The 1/2 leg that I got was swift and virtually painless, the staff once again were knowledgeable on the products and how to keep my legs in good condition.
The bikini wax was quick and painless again I was left feeling nice and neat and happy with results. The underarm wax was done to perfection. Over all Organic Beauty will definitely be getting my custom again.
The price was affordable and the level of work is one of the best I have ever had. A Perfect salon in Brixton

I have visited Organic Beauty Salon twice, both times for the Gelish manicure. I was very impressed with my first visit and would agree with all the positive reviews, but was left very upset after my second.
Unfortunately, I felt that the lady carrying out my manicure was inexperienced in the procedure. It took much longer than normal to remove the gel that was already on my nails, and whilst doing so she caused quite a lot of pain, and pierced the skin on one of my cuticles causing damage. When trimming my nails, she also caused a deep and painful cut to the skin on one of my fingers. After she'd finished preparing my nails for the Gelish coat, I chose not to continue with my treatment, partly because it had unexpectedly taken 45 minutes just to remove the original gels and if I'd stayed for the new gels to be applied I would have been late for a work appointment, and partly because I felt very upset about the manner in which the treatment was being carried out and didn't wish to continue. When I left, my nails and skin were damaged, filed unevenly, and a lot of the base coat from my original gels was still visible on my nails. I was also overcharged on the price for the removal and was only refunded the difference after I'd questioned it several times.
Overall, I found the lady carrying out my treatment was quite unfriendly and dismissive when I pointed out the delay and the pain; and rather than being concerned for my comfort and enjoyment, I found that her responses were defensive and suggesting that some of these things were my fault.
After the pleasant, friendly and relaxing experience I had first time around at Organic Beauty I was deeply disappointed by my second visit and, unfortunately, it has dissuaded me from visiting again. I hope they will look into how experienced each member of staff is in each procedure, and prioritise the comfort of their customers in future.

I don’t have enough good things to say about these guys! This new salon on the top of Atlantic Road in Brixton is a haven of peace. If you want to enjoy some relax, pamper yourself with their special organic treatments: Facials, Massage, Waxing, Lashes, Brow Shape, Pedicure (and Fish Pedicure), Manicure. I recommend you to try the Gelish manicure that lasts up to 2 weeks!
20% off on the first visit, complimentary tea and chocolate for their customers. Nice ambiance and clean facilities run by a great staff!

I was so glad to find a beauty salon in Brixton. I’ve lived here for two years and I was tired of travelling around and trying places. I became a very fussy client as every place I tried left me unsatisfied. When I came to Organic Beauty, I was really pleased with the decoration and the kindness of the staff. I had wax and the results were better than expected.
