A Tasca

I went to this place once when it was fairly new, I enjoyed my meal although the service was quite slow, the restraunt was empty when we went in (the premesis shared with cafe next door) and it took a while before the waiter came to serve us, once he was in attendence the service was good and the place filled up as time moved on.
The food was nice and well cooked although we had Peri Peri Chicken and it came as plain Roast chicken with a Peri Peri dipping sauce rather than marinated meat as experienced both in Portugal and Uk’s other Peri Peri joints.
A Tasca has been around a while now so I imagine the management have the staffing issues sorted by now and I have used the Cafe next door many times indeed it is my Joint favourite coffee shop in corby and with the experience of eating the food there I can vouch for the quaility & size of the meals since they share a kitchen & Chef.
Overall I would recommend A Tasca

Great little place we could find no fault with the food and wine, and the service was excellent. The servings were generous and I ate perhaps a bit more than I should, and as a result had to forgo a pudding, but next time!!!
