Daniel, you received your order of a triple solid oak wardrobe within a week of placing your order, you were very happy with your product and our service at no time have you emailed to say your item is faulty. when you place an order with us you are asked to sign and agree to our terms and conditions before you are able to continue with your order, our website delivery page and our terms and conditions page clearly explains you will have to pay postage costs if you are out of our free delivery zones and your invoice will be updated to reflect these costs, we then spoke on the telephone and I explained the delivery charges to you personally, with which you stated you had seen your item cheaper elsewhere including dellivery costs, I asked you to forward the details and we would do a price match. We are very competative with our prices and feel the item you purchased was purchased at a steel, you purchased a solid Oak Triple wardrobe for less than £500.00 including postage, you also had this item delivered within a week, the delivery charge was for £45.00 which again is very reasonable when you are being delivered a triple heavy oak wardrobe on a 2 man service within a week of your payment. I find it amazing how we go to so much effort to make a complaint, I hope you also go to this effort when you are pleased with a product and service. We apologise you feel you needed to leave us negative feedback and I also apologise your feedback diverted from the actual truth. Its amazing how people are happy to twist the truth to try and ruin reputations, customers who have purchased from us are very happy at the quality of our products and I assure you they are not substandard. This whole negative feedback is purely down to the fact that you did not want to pay postage costs. Have a nice day Daniel.

This is made worse by Harrison’s customer service who ignore your e-mails, and when you finally get someone on the phone they respond with bewildering comments like “it’s not built by a computer” and “the quality is reflected in the price”. Harrison's did finally agree to refund on condition I arrange and pay for its return, saying I should have checked it on delivery. Unfortunately I signed for it unchecked, so be warned!
To sum up then, almost a nice piece of furniture that is
unfortunately poorly assembled, but if you like the rustic look, and are
prepared to make some repairs and modifications, despite spending nearly £400, then
it should make a decent addition to your home. As for Harrison's Interiors, don’t
be fooled by their neat looking website, I would avoid them completely.
There customer service was excellent a lovely couple who drove a long way to my home and then stayed to put up the wardrobe, they took all the packaging away aswell .
All in all I got a well made wardrobe for a superb price (seen the same one priced much higher with other retailers) and excellent customer service. Would not hesitate to buy again.

The reason I did not mention the defects is because I simply cannot be bothered to arrange for the item to be replaced. As small as the defects may be they should still not be there on such expensive furniture.
I do not have a problem paying for postage, however what I do have a problem with is companies debiting money from my credit card without my authorisation. I had no written or verbal communication from you prior to payment being made stating there was a delivery charge. When payment was taken over the phone I asked the lady to confirm the grand total for me – the figure I was told was the figure I was expecting.
If you would be up front and honest on your website with regards to delivery charges then there would no be a problem. If other companies can do it on there websites then so you can do. If I was to order a large wardrobe from Amazon for example then the price you see is the price you pay, simple.

Daniel,
As specified on our website and in the Terms and Conditions you accepted you read, it clearly states your invoice will be updated to include any delivery costs within 24 hours or the next working day from placing your order, once the invoice is updated it is them emailed to you, you have the option to log into your account at any time to review your order details, we spoke to you on the phone with regards to postage charges, at no time did you ask us not to go ahead with the order nor did you contact us again at any time prior to receiving your order. If your item was indeed faulty we offer an exchange service, all you needed to do was contact us as soon as you noticed any defect, we would then have arrange for a replacement and an uplift.
Our website is honest, on our main page we offer ‘free deliver see terms’ in our terms it clearly states we offer free delivery within 30 miles of our showroom, or free delivery for orders over £500.00 within 80 miles of our showroom. It is very hard to write everything on a main page of a website this is why websites have terms and condition pages and this is why we ask you to accept you have read the terms and conditions prior to placing your order.
We politley suggest you read the terms and conditions prior to placing your order on any other online shopping site, as negative feedback received due to your error is immoral and unfair.

How can you possibly say this is my error?!
As stated in my previous message I received NO WRITTEN OR VERBAL communication from you with any delivery charge added to the invoice. This means in the form of Email or Telephone. The one and ONLY email I received from you was my order confirmation email. This confirmation email stated the following:
Your Order Contains…
Cart Items Code Qty Item Price Item Total
Canterbury Solid Oak Triple Wardrobe
C-WD03-ROP 1 £447.00 GBP £447.00 GBP
Subtotal: £447.00 GBP
Delivery: £0.00 GBP
Grand Total: £447.00 GBPNow in case you are not familiar with the meaning on Grand Total please allow me to explain.
Grand Total means and I quote from Google “The final amount after everything is added up; the sum of other totals.”. Now if this is not misleading then you are clearly deluded. The very first time I knew any delivery charge was applicable was when I saw it charged on my credit card.
I politely suggest that you change your website and make it crystal clear when going though the checkout stages as to what delivery charges will be and accept that the way you advertise it now is wrong.
Came across this hidden shop by chance, lovely selection of furniture and accessories, a few items on display other items can be ordered, they have catalogues about the place so you can browse products at your leisure with an assistant on hand to answer any questions you may have, you are never hounded with sales people so thats a nice exception for a furniture shop, they have a cute little longcoat chihuahua called timmy that likes to be patted if you are a dog lover, harrisons interiors even offer a bespoke furniture option, you can choose upto 11 finishes for your furniture from waxed, snow white to antique ivory. delivery for furniture if not in stock is from a couple of days to maximum 3 weeks for bespoke items.
