10 reviews of In-N-Out Burger in English
QUite simply, the best Burger in the world.
Don't forget to ask for their secret sauce..........
Every time I visit the west coast, I've got to make at least one stop at In and Out Burger. I won't go so far as to say these are the best burgers on the planet, but there is something about them. Nicely grilled hamburger patty on a fresh bun topped with sliced tomatoes, lettuce and onions....it's the west coast answer to White Castle.
Yes, it's just fast food, BUT the location is unique! It's right next to KLAX, so be prepared to experience 747s humming above your head.

In-N-Out recently released a spate of adverts that went like this:
The phone rings, and a sleepy voice answers. Another voice says, "I'm so sorry to call you late at night, but it's morning here, and I just can't stop thinking about In-N-Out. And I was wondering, uh...if I wire you some money...will you send me some In-N-Out burgers?"
Crazy stuff, I'm sure, but I assure you with no irony and a completely straight face, that In-N-Out burgers are the best in the entire world. I don't care what Texas says -- these are the best, even without Texas beef.
In-N-Out has not changed their menu since 1948 - they still have options 1, 2 or 3, and the same drinks they offered back then. But, little known to tourists, there is a secret code to I-N-O. You can order fries and burgers "animal style", for example: with burger sauce, grilled onions and smothered in cheese. Oh god, I'm hungry.
The style of In-N-Out and the uniforms of their workers haven't changed since 1948 either -- there is still the same 1950s charm, and diner feel to the place.
The food is all freshly prepared in the extreme, which is the main appeal of the lovely old-style diner. Their beef is delivered fresh from local farms, every day -- ditto their veg. You watch as the patties are formed, spiced and cooked. You watch in delight as the potatoes are chopped and fried, the onions cut before your eyes.
It's abotu a 15 minute wait for food, even if no one is before you, as the food isn't prepared until after you order.
Seating is alright, but this is a busy place, being so near the airport, so expect a bit of a wait.
Please, please do yourself a favour -- if you're anywhere in California, stop by an In-N-Out. Your tastebuds will never eat pub food ever again.
Whenever I am in the USA this is one of the first places I go to. The burgers have a magical quality to them. I wish I could find their joint all over my travels.
The service is simple - it is just about the best fast food you could find.
Great little fast food restraunt. Next to the airport so you can have your lunch before you get on a flight.
Great prices and excellent service.
GREAT JOB!
Do you know how Homer Simpson gets the special sauce for hamburgers? He puts mayo in the sun. That’s not part of the secret menu at In-N-Out. All fresh and clean, made before your eyes.
For fast food it is a very good burger. Probably the best of the fast food burgers. There is something about this burger that doesn’t make you wish you had not eaten it, you know that feeling?
The melting of the cheese and the special sauce glues the whole thing together nicely. Fries are good too, thin and well done, not limp and anaemic.
Well, what can I say. If you’ve never been to an In-N-Out before, it’s simply the best fast food burger joint around.
In 1948 Harry and Esther Snyder started the In-N-Out restaurant in Baldwin Park, LA, California. Insisting on the highest quality ingredients, the best service and a sparkling clean environment, they created the first drive through takeaway from which the name was derived. The winning formula has continued ever since, although now you’ll find In-N-Out in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and well as the original state California.
The menu is incredibly simple: hamburger, cheese burger, or double double (two cheese burgers). These include all the usual salad, onions, pickles and so on, but since all the burgers are prepared to order, you can request to have the burger prepared the way you like it. Supplement this with fries freshly sliced on the premises (you can see them slicing the potatoes in the kitchen), and a range of the usual soft drinks.
For those in the know there is a secret menu including a range of other options – I always ask for mine animal style! I won’t list all the options here but the details are available on the website: http://www.in-n-out.com/secretmenu.asp
What makes this In-N-Out particularly special is its proximity to LAX airport. If you sit outside you can almost feel the aeroplanes coming into land. The perfect place to hang out while waiting for a flight in the LA sunshine!
