5 reviews of Simply Ghost Nights Limited in English
The first hour or so into the investigation were a little quiet, but this is to be expected on paranormal investigations as we have been on many before this one. But we did get some activity. Then by midnight we were treat to the most amazing buffet I have ever seen on any ghost hunt in that past.
The second half of the event was almost non stop activity.
I would reccomend this group to anyone and have already booked another event with them. Just as with ghosts seeing is believing.

I think this comment is very rude and untrue. I was present on the night at Halifax and it was my first time with Simply Ghost Nights.
I have however followed Chris Conway on many events and am extremely offended by your comments. Chris Conway is the most trustworth man I have ever met!
I think the truth be known you spent £80 on your tickets and because it was not for you, you have decided to shame the company instead so shame on you. Maybe next time you should stick to watching Most haunted then you can believe whatever you want to on the tv but please do not go offending genuine people and companies to score points. Simply Ghost Nights will be seeing myself and my friends again very soon as we thought the event was run very proffesionally and the buffet was superb! -

This is not untrue at all. I saw what happened with my own eyes and at the end of the night i seem to remember your husband overhearing what I was saying to my boyfriend and he agreed with me. I am entitled to my own opinion just like you are. I would never saying anything just to be malicious or to harm any companies reputation but this is how myself and my partner felt, Nowhere in my comment did I say everything that the whole night was fake I was just giving my review of the night.

And just to add to this comment when we were asked if you had ever been on a ghost hunt before and you and your friends said no you had NOT. To me it seems very strange at how passionate you are to defend this company ecspicially after our conversation on the carpark after the night was over and Im not entirely sure that this is even Sam, I well and truely believe this is a made up account by one of the simply ghost night team members which is really pathetic. BIGGEST CONS EVER!

Hi Sam & Alex, let me start by saying Kershaw seems a long time ago & we have had quite a few events since then so apologies for not quite remembering who you both are.
I took both teams that night and the 1st group I took had pretty much nothing in the bar area so no “fakery there” and my 2nd group were all cheering the table on as it moved & Chris wasn’t even in the room with us.
I totally agree that people are entitled to their own opinion and I am sorry this wasn’t for you, but I don’t agree with some of the comments.
I can assure you that myself and Stuart are the only team members who have Qype accounts & both are valid accounts.
Chris Conway has been on numerous events with us and I can honestly say from experience Chris does not & would not push a glass or table. He has no reason to. He as well as the rest of the team do this as we love the paranormal.
If you were not happy with doing table tipping and ouija boards you could have spoken with your team leader as we have lots of electrical equipment you could have used.
I personally only remember 1 team member, Kathy who was touched that night. We all have been doing this a long time and are quite susceptible and open to this. We also know what things to look out for.
As for the “plant” in the group. We did have 1 of the teams mothers with us, this is not a crime. The only error we made was not saying this at the beginning of the night but she has been on lots of hunts with us and this has never been a problem before. We are a very close team so our friends & family do come along and take part. I was sat with Rosey throughout the whole break and did not hear once her saying anything of the sort.
I do not appreciate been called a con and fake as I, along with the rest of the team are far from it and I find that very personal. We have a lot of regulars that come back again and again as they love our company.
Again I reiterate that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it is a shame you did not enjoy the ghost hunt its just a pity you didn’t feel like you could say something to us on the night rather than talking about it in the car park than posting about it on Qype.
Samx19 – Thank you very much for your kind words, I’m sure Chris will be very happy to hear this too. I hope to see you again soon.

This night is absolutely terrifyingly heardpoundingly skin crawlingly logic defyingly SHIT. The event lasts for 6 hours and boy does it drag. I am a rational and logical person who does not believe in the afterlife, ghosts or mediums, so obviously I was always going to treat the event with a large degree of scepticism, but I went along for the fun of it anyway as, after all, it was likely to be entertaining. To be 100% fair the first hour wasn’t that bad, with séances and table tipping. The biggest problem for me was that this 1 hour of mild entertainment was repeated for 5 more hours in different rooms in the building, to the point where, 4 hours in, I actually nodded off. It is boring!
The event organisers are cashing in on nothing. Telling us that they have had some “really strong activity in this room” and “the table left me bruised when it flew across the room” are just some of the mind-numbingly bullshit phrases they spurt out like a broken record for 6 hours. If they are going to do this, then why not go the whole hog and make it fun… ghost stories, a background of the history of the place etc. I have been on ghost walks in Edinburgh that were entertaining because they made the effort to entertain. The feeling I got last night was a bunch of amateurs akin to the simple bloke in the pub who tells you they get a strange feeling in their attic. It really is this moronic and shallow. I don’t care that there may or may not be ghosts, and I am not slating them for their beliefs, that is not a problem at all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I don’t mind them trying to convince others of it. The biggest issue is how non-engaging this night is. If it wasn’t for the fact that there were some vocal people in our group asking questions around the table and making a real effort to squeeze some enjoyment out of it, I think I would have walked out after an hour. At least I would have saved 5 hours of my life.
Also, on a side note, but something which again illustrates the amateur feel of this affair, the “buffet” is a bunch of cold Asda value sausage rolls and some crisps. Oh, and some maxwell house instant coffee to keep their one brain cell awake.

I think it must have been Temple, with it’s immature staff, and funnily enough we’ve never had a George on an event whatsoever.
Can you remember Temple and some of the staff they provided, especially that cock with the pork pie hat. :)
