Mansion House

Four of us went for dinner 09/09/2012 it was a nightmare, booked table for !7.00 as my husband was travelling to Aberdeen Dyce on the 19.45 train. ordered food at 17.10, 18.10 still no food.
When enquired as to when to expect food we were told the waitress who took our order had left at 18.00 and had not placed our order with the kitchen.
Young barman was mortified, he had just started, I felt so bad for him that I did not create a fuss.
Manager was in but stayed clear, no apology from him.
We did eventually get our food, it was of a very low standard.
My advise would be steer clear, a waste of money, cost us an extra £30 for taxi as hubby missed last train to Dyce..

Awful awful awful. Do not go here. My sister booked lucky voice as a surprise for my hen party 9 (3 more due later - but I never got to see) of us in total. Cost £200 the staff were horrible and had terrible attitudes, we felt very unwelcome and we asked for our money back as it was atrocious the way we were spoken to by a female staff member. We had asked for a bottle of champagne and were spoken to as If we were dirt on her shoe - absolutely disgraceful. They wouldnt give us the money back and the male bouncer man handled me (my small size 8 frame) I have bruises on both wrists and flung me out - me, the bride to be and in front of my future in laws! Completely ruined what had been a fabulous hen do. We had just came from the Malmaison where we enjoyed a welcoming reception and cocktails - and where we should have stayed. We didnt even get around to buying a single drink in that hole. So £200 down, bruised wrists and shoulder, unfed and completely mortified! DO NOT GO HERE - there are plenty of other decent bars in Glasgow that deserve our money that we work hard for, this place needs a complete staffing overhaul. Including their Manager with his English accent, rude is an understatement. Had to click on a star to post this warning it should be minus. Again- it ruined one of the most important nights out that I will have in my life. Never and I mean never have I been put out of a pub or anywhere for that matter and I am 27 and had many nights out in Glasgow. This is the first time and the most embarassing thing that has ever happened to me. Please do yourself a favour, look at somewhere else. (I opened an account specifically to write this)

There are a few rooms to this place! I was there at Halloween and had a great night with free entry to the club upstairs and some cheap drinks. The main room played a mix of songs from cheesy pop to indy but no really heavy dance or rock!

Good atmospher and the bar staff remembered our drinks! Good night!
