Following my recent purchase of a Focus  it did have a few issues but Jon the salesman i dealt with had nothing but time and energy in sorting them out for me some 2 weeks after me actually taking the car . Professional , courteous  service , nothing was too much trouble ,very pleased ,and the car is 100% ,will definitely visit again 

Bought a car from LMC a couple of months ago, if you are thinking of doing the same don't leave unless your 100% happy with it. If advertised with F.S.H  check the book, picking up the car checked and it had one stamp, also don't take anything said as done, if your wanting any jobs done prior to sale, check the work has been carried out yourself. I've had no major problems with the car, the tracking and tyres needed sorting which didn't happen, couldn't get hold of LMC over the phone so sorted myself, would not like to have been in the position of having a big issue, aftersales - nil points and still waiting for the v5. would not buy from them again.

Absolutely appalling service from this company, I would stay well away. I wouldn't have even given one star but had to.  We have had nothing but trouble with the car bought from them in December last year. The customer service is beyond terrible, we spent the whole of Christmas and New Year without a car because everytime the "mechanic" fixed it, more problems arose. They couldn't have cared less......It was supposed to have had a full MOT and Service.
They will avoid answering the phone, we know this because we had friends call at times when we were told they weren't there and we were never once offered a solution while the car was off the road i.e. courtesy car. Just not good enough. We called the AA out twice in the first month and they told us not to drive the car. We have recorded several complaints with Trading Standards. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what we have been through. If you need to buy from this place, have the car looked over by the RAC or another mechanic before parting with any cash! I wish I had read some of the reviews before we bought from them.

I bought a Ford Focus 1.6 Ghia with a part ex from Liverpool Motors in Speke. When I arrived from Manchester to view the car, it was elsewhere having its usual check overs & MOT done. The salesman kindly took me to view the car. The deal was made and a week later I collected the car. Whilst driving home I noticed there was a fault with the engine management. I contacted the company & the car was brought in a couple of days later. The problem was solved & rectified within a couple of hours. Car is now running in good order. I found the service to be very professional, the staff were polite and were never pushy to sell you the car. All documents, manuals came with the car, spare keys etc. So being a satisfied customer, its definatley the thumbs up for me as well.

Back again for the third time in just over a year. My wife and son are very happy with their Beetle and Polo and i have just part ex my car for a Beautiful low mileage Range Rover. The condition of the cars are excellent and their prices seem to be unbeatable. My best friends daughter bought a car a few months back on our recommendation as well. What more can i say!!

I was looking for a Peugeot 206cc and after searching the internet found one at Liverpool motors. picture of it was fantastic and write up sounded promising at a good price.I rang them and they were very helpful. I asked if the car had scratches and scuffs and if the interior was clean and tidy. he said to put my mind at rest he would walk round the car and talk me through it on the phone. He said the car was immaculate inside and out. I trusted his word and put a £200 deposit to secure it. On arrival to collect car it hadnt been washed or vaccumed and as we looked around the car there were a number of scratches, scuffs, little dinks and one of the alloys had a dent from hitting a curb. They had me as the deposit was non-refunable and they refused to budge on the price. Cowboy cars salesmen and most certainly will not go again or recommend. BEWARE!!!!

Bought an 07 Focus and am totally delighted. There were a few things that needed doing before I picked it up but they were done and i have no complaints.
I have visited many used car dealers in Liverpool, most have been good to talk to, but I felt at ease at Liverpool Motor Company.

I bought a 08 mondeo. Very good price for the car and decent part ex price. The guy I bought it from seemed honest enough. He promised to do a few jobs (polish out scratches, NEW tyres).
Got the car and found that the scratches had not been dealt with and that the supposed new tyres were barely legal. Called them many times and just fobbed off. I would not use them again. Suggest anyone buying from them is very careful.

I would never do business with these people again and I would encourage you to avoid them!

I bought an Almera last year with a low mileage for a little more than I would usually have paid for but I felt I’d get my money’s worth with it being a Nissan.

Within 10 miles it developed an engine fault. I brought the car back and then it took them 4 months to fix the car (bare in mind I was left with no other way of getting to work aside from good friends and family). Within that time I had asked for a refund 4 times 2 of which in writing. They wouldn’t honour the refund and the manager was never on site to confront (’He’s still on holiday’ was the usual excuse). Once I’d threatened them with court action, the car was finally fixed, invalidating the refund.

I’m a patient man and they took advantage of that.

I would agree with anyone that they maintained a cheerful and polite manner, but then talk is cheap.

My daughter has been looking for a beetle cabriolet for a few months,she was specific in the car she wanted,which she found via the internet advertised by Liverpool Motors.We traveled together from Buckingham to Liverpool and met John the manager, a very nice professional and helpful person. John let us test drive the car unacompanied and gave us plenty of time to make up our mind,non of the usual pushy sales drive.
The car was well presented but needed a few ninor jobs attending to.We struck a deal dependant on those jobs being carried out to our satisfaction and agreed to collect the car the following week. We collected the car the following Saturday all the jobs were done and the car was presented fully valeted and looking very very nice. John was true to his word, I was very impressed with both John and Liverpool Motors and would not hesitate to recomend them anyone.

I am currently looking to buy a new car and decided to go back to liverpool motor company as i change my car every 12 – 18 months and i have previously purchased 4 cars from them over the last 6 years. i cant say i’ve never had a problem with any of my cars because the 3rd car i bought had a problem which through no fault of their own took a few weeks to sort out. This resulted in the car being taken to a few garages ending up back at vauxhalls where it was fixed at their expense. I will say i was extremely satisfied with the service i recieved. I found the staff very friendly and quite different to any other car sales garage as they dont seem to be as pushy and false as most places. I would recommend!

I recently purchased a Toyota Prius from Liverpool Motor Company, and was exceptionally pleased with the service that i received. Being a single mother of 3 children i needed a reliable, cost effective vehicle within a certain price range, not knowing much about cars and with a tight budget, i felt really pleased with the advice and helpful manner in which all the staff treated me. I will and have recomended Liverpool Motor Company to all my friends and family, and would not hesitate to pruchase another vehicle from them.

The staff at Liverpool Motor Company were very friendly and helpful, after owning the car for four months (which I am very happy with) I went back to look at an option to part ex my wife’s car and ended up with a cracking deal both my wife and I were happy with , this is a rare occurrence as we never agree about anything.

I will definitely recommend Liverpool Motor Company to family and friends.

I bought my car a couple of months ago from liverpool motor company, i found the staff to be very friendly, none of the over powering sales men you find in some garages, my credit rating isnt the best, the sales manager went out of his way to find me finance that suited my buget, the car was exactley as described, a one owner ford focus with low milage in excellent condition, my son has just passed his test, so i know were i will be going again to buy a car

We just bought our second car from liverpool motor company. A 5 year old focus for my wife. Just like the first time we bought a car from them we were left to go round the car with no hastle or pressure. We test drove it and it was fine. We left a deposit and was told we could pick the car up when it was mot’d and 2 tyres had been changed. When we came to collect all promises kept.
Polite and professional, would recommend and deal with them again.

I totally agree with the comments below. Had the similar experience and brought me a lot of troubles since buying an used car in Liverpool Motor Company!!! regretting!!! promised to send me all documents by post but NEVER and said they posted to me maybe the documents lost by post when I kept ringing the company!!! selling car without MOT and lied to me!!! went to police office and found out the issue! wanted to make a complaint to relavent organisation but lack of information. NEVER AGAIN

I found this company to be friendly and easy to deal with.I bought a 4 year old Beetle convertible after a few weeks of looking.The one i bought from Liverpool motor company was in perfect condition,low mileage and a great price compared to anything else. I paid for a Rac inspection and everything was how they described it.
Its a thumbs up from me !
