4 reviews of Marks & Spencer in English
I use to think M&S was a no go area for me and way beyond my budget, but due to sales I have been drwarn to go into the store and have been surprised at the prices, they are very reasonable and very impressed with the clothing range for children, could spend quite abit on dresses for my daughter here. food hall is also a place where you can still pick up the odd jem or 2, and their cookies are a must to try..
Only snag I hate about this store is childrens dept is upstairs which can be pain at times, but customer lifts are available..
Marks and Spencer has always been the gold label of food and continues to be so in a market which is flooded with cheap convenience food.
This store has 2 entrances - 1 in the Dolphin Centre and 1 outside in Falkland Square.
The best way to enter is from Falkland Square asyou are instantly into the food hall.
It’s always busy, but the stock levels are good. The staff are helpful and the quality of the food is consistent.
Parking is a problem in that there is none adjoining so a weekly shop could be a heavy drag back to the car which is a shame as there is a great choice.

the quality here is always outstandind and i find some of the clothong to be very fasionable yet comfortable and cosy. They also sell adorable little gifts and seasonal treats, aswell as a great range of cards and wrapping paper and reasonable prices. I mostly buy from the foodhall as the quality is amazing, even if i a little pricier than tescos. They also have good offers, for example the '2 can dine for £10’ which is running at the moment. Anohter favourite feature of mine is the cafe located upstairs, the hot chocolates from there are delicious!

The staff here are really friendly and helpful. In fact I often get delayed by chatting!
I mostly buy from the Fair Trade and Per Una, although I got a fab skirt from their classic range. I sleep in Fair Trade men’s T shirts! Really comfortable….
I get socks for my daughter here and panties as they seem to last longer then cheaper ones. I got her a dressing gown in the Value bit, and some German looking pyjamas. (It’s the colours…)
Nearly all my underwear is from here, but never you mind, and also have their pillow protectors.
Quality stuff!
