Mes Footwork

I placed an order with Mes in November 2011. I received a polite letter in December explaining they were experiencing difficulties in delivery due to a production problem and I would receive my goods in January 2012 at the latest. I was disappointed as the trainers I had ordered were Christmas presents, but I thought I could provide the children with a New Year gift instead. It is now June 2012 and I have tried to contact Mes on numerous occasions to find out what was happening with my order. No contact. This company has totally let so many people down as I know of many others who have experienced the same dreadful service.
The best advise I can give is stay away from providing this company with any of your hard earned money. You get nothing in return. By the way, I don't think they deserve any star for a rating!

Ordered my trainers and they arrived within 10 days as promised. All my own design and quality seems decent. I see below they'd had some issue but my friend recommended them and nowhere else can do this kind of thing. If they did have any problems they seem sorted now and  I'll definitely be going back.

THESE GUYS ARE TOTALLY RUBBISH, THIS OF COURSE ALSO MEANS THAT QYPE ARE RUBBISH TO AS THEY WERE PROMOTING MES. ANYONE READING THIS PLEASE PLEASE DONT DEAL WITH MES OR QYPE, GO TO CRAMPON INSTEAD OR FOR THAT MATTER ANYONE ELSE.

Same experience as everyone below- still no trainers despite ordering within the Christmas deadline.
Shockingly, they are advertising customised trainers for Valentine’s Day if you order before 8th February.
I will be contacting trading standards if I don’t hear anything by tomorrow.

My story is similar to all of the above. I ordered mine via the Groupon deal in the first week of November. I have emailed them and had no reply. I emailed Groupon for a refund and they have sent back an email suggesting I call MES, which I am loathe to do as I racked up a £20 phone bill trying to call a vendor in a previous and unrelated Groupon deal. Groupon also suggest I take note that MES small print states the trainers will take up to six weeks to arrive. Yeah right, it s now 13 and a half weeks since I ordered them! As my son (who was to be the recipient of the trainers) says “WORST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!!” And I m only giving them one star because this site wont let me give them a zero

I placed an order with MES in early November. The website said 7 to 10 days delivery. So after 12 days I phoned MES, managed to speak to someone, who told me 5 to 10 days.

My shoes didn’t arrive, so I called again to be told the same thing.

In early december I called again. This time I was told that they had production problems, but my shoes would be despatched before Christmas.

Before Christmas MES sent an email to all customers explaining that delivery was not possible before Christmas.

In early January MES sent an email to all customers saying they were catching up with the backlog and all shoes would be despatched before the end of January.

We are now in February – still no shoes.

Now I can’t get through on the phone, Emails are unanswered.

My advice, based on my experience so far, is don’t order shoes from this company as they seem incapable of making them.

If you blog them you will see they have had a handout of £27,000 by some counsil body, I ordered and paid for 3rd december, still waiting, what makes it 100 times worse is NO contact, they wont reply to mail or pick up the phone,
if i live closer I would be outside to door at opening time with my brothers in arms! as an ex forces man I dont take kindly to being treated this way.

I ordered the ‘Design Your Own’ for my little sister’s Christmas present. I ordered them in the first week of November as the website said that it could take up to six weeks to get the trainers at busy times of the year. Six weeks later and I hadn’t heard a word, when looking on the MES footwork website, they had a notice up saying that anyone who had ordered before the 1st of December will recieve their orders before Christmas. So I left it at that, until a few days beofre Christmas I emailed them to ask if I would definatley recieve them with a reply of ‘Sorry’ and that I wouldn’t recieve them till sometime Januray and that I would also recieve a voucher. I recived the trainers yesterday and they are not what I asked for….
1. The design is on the inside of the trainer and the writing on the outside (it should be the opposite way around – I have checked my design on the internet and it’s their mistake) …..
2. Their is a mark in the same place on both trainers, either they have clamped the trainer, or the way they have being lying in the box, the transfer has been ripped off slightly.. okay you may not see this when they are on, but I have spent good hard earned money!!
3. I ordered red laces… the trainers have arrived with white ones.
4. I never recieved the voucher that they so promised in their letter of apology (not that I would spend any more money there anyway!)

In conclusion, It’s bad enough that the trainers were late.. but now it’s like they have made a half ars*d effort to quickly get them out the door..

I will let you know how I get on when I phone them up to try get this sorted.. there is no way I could give these to my sister!!

Don’t touch with a barge pole! Ordered as a Christmas present in early November and it is now the 13th January and I still don’t have a thing from them. They will not respond to e-mails or phone calls. They are a bunch of crooks that many seem to be pursuing. Looks like they have bitten of more than they can chew with their Christmas orders and the people online who have recieved good and posted pictures of their shoes look terrible quality and poorly finished. I regret ever ordering from them.

Awful Company. Did not receive my trainers that I order more than 2 months ago. Company promised that they would be delivered before the 18th December as they were a christmas present. They did not arrive and the company to not reply to emails or answer their phone. Do not deal with! I have had to go through my credit card company to get the money back!
