Rim Nam Thai Restaurant

Always good food and the location is great but they have eased there prices up and now is quite expensive !!!

This is a restaurant that is on the ball. They are ideally located by the canal, so summertime evening meals are wonderful for the view. But the most interesting part is that this large restaurant manages to feel quite cosy despite the size.

The waitresses are lovely, and attentive. We had preordered our wine which was brought to our table immediately.

We ordered the set menu for New Years Eve and was surprised by the excellent value for money. I am a frequent traveller to Thailand and can say that the mains were very close to the real deal. The starters are standard fare appetisers but suitably tasty. The Mussaman curry was delicious and actually used lamb and not cheap mutton. The spicy duck was fantastic. I would only like there to be fish sauce and fresh lime available on the table as I like my Pad Thai with more oomph.

A delicious meal with lovely service in an excellent location.
