I don't know anyone in Leeds who is rich enough to shop here to be honest. All I can think of is all the people who come here are from Harrogate and all the women who come here just fish for free samples!!
This here is shopping for high flyers, pimps and rich kids. You could probably get half the stuff in here cheaper on the net! The stuff itself is pretty boring. Shopping for people with more money than sense. You'd probably look like you get cash, but the stuff is pretty boring, uninspring and expensive for what it is. You'd be better going in some 'indie' clothes retaillers with more interesting and unique wears.
The old podgy door guy at the front in the top hat is great though.
Pay for quality

The HN 'outdoor' cafe is a favourite spot for a light lunch/glass of champagne, while watching the world go by.
Love the soups and the velvety house red (£18/bot) on a winter's day and a cool glass of fizz (from £10/glass) early evening.
Not cheap, but so preferable to dark, bustly, noisey Starbucks over the way.
One of Leeds' best. London has the Fifth Floor etc but not a 'street cafe'!.

Love the place, and I go probably 4 or 5 times a year, and go to the new summer collection every year without fail. Just wish the store was even bigger ! :)

This shop is like a big red balloon.
It's really nice to look at from the outside.
But inside it's full of nothing.
Over-priced, uninspiring menswear.
The staff aren't friendly, knowledgable or attractive.
The store is like Michael Owen, a shadow of his former self content to live off former glory.
Okay, at best.

lovely shop; pristine interior, nice layout, door man, polite colleges. however very expensive and you can only afford it if you're very wealthy or have money to spend - do not go here with a budget!

For me it's all about the windows,I just love them all!
Also ome gorgeous clothing and accessories and a great new change of direction for women's wear on the third floor.

This department store just adds to the pleasure of shopping in West (Riding) Yorkshire.
Hotels, restaurants and shopping with entertainment create a vibrant centre.
Harvey Nichols remains "absolutely fabulous".
Excellent reputation for expensive quality goods and retail good manners too.
Proper coffee in the ground floor cafe.
Easy short walk from main rail station.

A great aspect of Leeds city centre shopping, and a feast for the eyes. Some great cosmetic houses for a treat- Mac counter is booming and the staff are generally really helpful.
Love the handbags area, there is lots of choice if you want to splurge!
Great cafe in the Victoria quater for refreshment whilst out shopping… yum!
And I would highly recommend the 4th floor food hall and restaurant, both are really great.

Lovely building and lovely shop. It’s a tourist attraction in itself but the place is full of great gifts for the family and everything you could ever want for yourself. Very expensive but very nice!

Love, love, love going in here, mostly to browse & window shop. Staff are all excellent, love the designer clothes & handbags best :) There’s an excellent cafe just outside in Victoria Place, but just go for a treat, as it’s very expensive.

posh and expensive, but you pay for the quality and if you got the money why not spend it. i prefer however to use my money wisely? you can book makeover sessions at the makeup counters, great idea for a special night out, and you are likely to end up with some free samples too

All visitors to Leeds should pay a visit to this store purely for the novelty effect if nothing else. There’s a 'Fat Controller’ from Thomas the Tank Engine like man on the door, top hat and all greeting visitors and opening the doors.
The items in Harvey Nics are much to be desired at several hundred pound per handbag etc but girls can always wish!
Plenty of staff available, all friendly and helpful with directions etc. Restaurant and food area on the top floor, very pricey indeed but nice to buy some homemade jam for the Harvey Nics bag!

What a stylish store! A little intimidating at first, this awesome posh department store is worth a visit when shopping in Leeds. All the desirable items inside are highly priced designer goods mostly but it’s a great place to go for ideas before you start shopping in the usual high street outlets.
The food hall on the top floor is great for little stocking filler gifts of quality food special food products, well worth a mooch around in there. While you’re up on the top floor, the cafe’s pretty nice too.

Plush, stylish department store - I’m sure you know what to expect. My favourites are the beauty counters downstairs, the food hall upstairs and the cafe which has amazing views over Leeds cityscape.
No Leeds shopping trip would be complete without popping in here!

I do like to pop in here purely to browse really sadly most things are way out of my price range and the clothes sizes seem to come in small and extra small so no good for me. Downstairs is full of the usual make up counters and glam assistancents and perfume. Clothing on the 2nd and 3rd floor then the forth floor has an amazing food hall filled with lots of goodies you wont find else where. I do sometimes treat myself to some yummy jelly belly beans they sell here. The toilets are great too. Also love the fab there’s a door man too.

This shop is actually very nice and a lovely place to shop, especially at christmas when the displays are up, they get really festive and in the spirit. I love all that! Anyway, the ranges they have are fab - homewares, clothes for men women and children, cosmetics, and a wonderful selection of accessories and gifts.
The staff are really really nice and the range of things they sell - well personally I could do all my shopping here at christmas including a nice dinner and a cup of tea for myself!
It can be a bit expensive so why not visit on a 20% off day which they have a lot of even before christmas. Their cards and wrap are really good quality too.
I do enjoy shopping in debenhams it is one of my very favourite shops in Leeds. I think that most people feel the same - it is just a lovely shop with loads to buy see and do, and it is right in the heart of Leeds city centre just a few minutes from the bus and train stations.

its worth a look in, not as flash as there manchester store, but the sales are always good!
its nice to see how the other half live ;) but staff are always nice even when i go in looking less then well heeled! (one of my grunge days)
but i love my beauty products,
the pout counter is good, as they often bring in new lines so the old lines get reduced around 50%
also the shu uemura counter that has recently openned! if you dont mind the £50.00 price tag for a cleansing oil that is. but they have fab false eye lashes
all beauty counters as you would find in most major department stores, like clarins (my fav) chanel etc
handbags need i say more? other then look but not at the price tags, as it can cause gasping out loud or partners to look very worried! and the shoes! you’ve heard the saying champange taste and cabbage means! thats me.
the bar is nice place to have a coffee upstairs, better then most high street coffee shops and pricing works out about the same, but there is a 10% service charge. and if you don’t want a coffee you can have a cocktail, glass of wine etc and great for people watching.
not eaten at the restaurant myself, but my friend went and the friend she went with, asked for a doggy bag for her left over chips! something i still laugh about now at the thought of her dying of shame! but they did wrap it in foil, making a very ornate swan shaped package and did not bat an eyelid at the request.
the little food market is always worth a look, to pick up some tasty treat to take home, or as posh little thank you gifts for the in-laws, gifts that come in a harvy nic’s bag are always welcomed!
the wines and spirit section is worth looking at, whiskey with price tags off £2000! but they do do tastings of the less expensive wines and sprits, which is very nice!
not forgetting Yo Sushi, my sons fav place, as all the food goes around on a convayer belt. though i do mutter not the purple plates son, as each plate is colour coded for pricing, with some cook to order dishes, and at the end of your meal, they simply add up your dirty dishes. so can work out expensive if your hungry!
and the ladies toilets! fab, sensor taps very clean, never out of toilet paper, full length mirrors, waste paper bins never over flowing. though can be a little dark! so if caught short shopping in leeds, these are the toilets to use!
