Scootech Scooters

I needed the fault codes read on my Nexus. I emailed Scootech to see if this could be done and if ift could be doen whilst I waited. They were more than happy to accomodate me. I also emailed thier parts dept with a parts eqnuiry and asked for price and availability. Same day reply quoting price but not stock item and to let them know if I wanted it ordered for next day delivery. So for me Scootech did exactly what I asked of them and were polite and courteous too.

Regarding the comment below about the woman not being able to 'speak English properly'; this is absolute tosh! And it may be a bit of the case of the 'pot calling the kettle black' as your own writing doesn't exactly show an in-depth understanding of the rules of grammar. 
The shop is great. I have been going there for 3 years and always received an excellent service. The staff are friendly and have always turned my bike around very quickly and at very reasonable cost. 

I went to few months ago this shop Clerkenwell Road London EC1R 5BU. I chooses a scooter to buy and suddenly found that shop manager a women who doesn't speak English properly...very rude attitude without any reason.She was told by another branch (ROMAN ROAD BRANCH) scooter ( price is £2000 told by Roman Road Branch) while she is trying to bargain with £3000 that price front of customer when everyone knew the price including her own staff.Not only ..she did rude behavior front of customer to her staff member who works in this shop. I saw myself staff was disappointed by her behavior. I am driver not only a professional who know at least people body languages and attitude of conversation ( in the shop or outside) Then I change my mind not to buy from this shop. Then this morning when I was passing Clerkenwell road and a scooter stopped next to me. I was asking the scooter driver what was the speed limit of the this road? She replied from scooter very rudely with F word. Then I found that she stopped and parked scooter with his staff member next to shop and realize who she is. I advice not to buy from this shop instead travel to this shop other branches.I took the picture and evidence which I am not printing or publishing due to privacy.All this is not a nice experience at all. Very Sad by this shop Manager's behavior while I love the mechanic of this shop while I am not going anymore here never ever.

I took my Scooter in there about 6 months ago to have some work carried out and at first all seemed very pleasant and friendly, i left the bike there at 8.30 in the morning and phoned in the afternoon to see if the bike was ready and was told it was ready to pick up. Cool. Went back up there to pick it up and was told "Oh sorry it isn't ready yet" WTF, obviously i wasn't happy but had no choice to leave it, which turned out to be overnight, and collect it again the next day, everything was fixed and the technician talked me through what he had done and i was pleased i had my Scooter back.
Now bearing in mind i live some distance away which involves me walking for about 45 minutes and then getting a train, so i was pretty mad that i had to make 2 completely unnecessary journeys.
So the other day i needed some major work done and an MOT so i got a few quotes from various places and although more expensive i thought id give them the benefit of the doubt, and as a main dealer trust them to do it.
So i booked it in, all nice and friendly and dropped it off at 8.30 in the morning as requested. As i was changing out of my bike trousers in the Showroom a guy came in and discussed with the receptionist that he had received a ticket for not having an MOT on his bike from the Police although they had done the MOT previously for him, as to why this was i couldn't tell you but i thought id mention it for your judgement. Anyway i digress, i left it with them made the hour and a bit journey back home and waited for their call. I received the call in the afternoon and was told the bike was ready and that to pass the MOT it needed an additional £250 odd worth of work because of several failures, something i was not in the position to afford so i declined and went to pick up the bike with the work i wanted done carried out.
When i got there i was politely told by the receptionist that she would be with me when she had finished with a customer she was with. When she had finished she told me "Sorry there's been a mix up and the work you wanted carried out hasn't been done because of all the other stuff that is wrong with it we thought you wouldn't want it done"
So once again i had been messed about and had my time wasted, pretty angry and felt stupid for trusting them. Now i know people make mistakes, i make enough of them but to do the same thing twice is pretty bad. Anyway left the shop with the bike and told them i was going to take my custom elsewhere.
Today i took the bike to a local MOT station to see what they would diagnose. They failed it but failed it on a bald Tyre and said the rear brake caliper was loose, which i tightened with 2 turns.
Now, Scootech failed it on rear brake pads, front tyre, headlamp bulb, steering bearings and the swing arm bushes, which i had taken it there for them to fix in the first place, and all this would cost £435 to fix. So to put the bike through an MOT today cost me £40 for a tyre and fitting.
You work that out for yourself.

good scooter garage owned by these guys not from their shop. they also loan bikes while yours is being fixed which is very handy indeed.
