This is by far the worst oline company i have had to deal with..ordered a 42inch lg tv fom them and was told delivery date would be oct 1st after ordering sept 20th....ok i thought a bit long but the price swung it at £280

i kept checking the status of my order online to see if was on time for that date which the site kept telling me it was, on oct 1stthe iteem failed to show up i had to call THEM on october 2nd only to be told there was a delay in my orderdown to the suppliers and the item would be despatched within the " next 3 days" on the 3rd day i received a email from them saying that the item had now been despatched and would be with me at the end of the week.

i caalled the customer service line to obtain a tracking number only to be told that the  despatch operator tht they use had a system failure and that information was unavailable ok i hought as this was tuesday and the customer services told me they would email me the information as soon as it was available on wednesday i still had not received the information i required so i called again on thursday dont forget i was told that mu item would be with me at the end of the week.

by chance i spoke to the same operator who again told me the service to the couriour was down but  i did receive the long awaited tracking number from WEA+ went to the site only to find that my item was in BELGUIM.

There was never a chance of my iteem ever reaching me by the end of the week as i actually telephoned the couriour in belguim who told me that the only received the go ahead to  collect the item from the belguim warehouse on the 5th october which is the day after wae+ said it would be delivered.

they have constantly failed to give me the information i required and more to the point lied to me on word of advice

AVOID.

PS I STILL HAVE NOT AS YET RECEIVED MY ITEM 3 WEEKS AFTER ORDERING

i have given them one star and thats just for the price

I ordered an Asrock mitx motherboard on 30th July. It was shown as ‘in stock’ and I arranged for delivery to my Father on the allotted day as I was on holiday. On returning from holiday – no delivery- so rang (on Friday) to be told delay was due to carrier problems but promised delivery by the next Wednesday. Rang on the Wednesday pretending to be a new customer wanting the same item and asked confirmation it was in stock. Erin took my call and confirmed the item was indeed in stock. I then asked why if it was in stock I hadn’t received my item, to her credit she was quick thinking and said it was already allocated ( but obviously not to me), she then said mine had been damaged in transit to them. Now I don’t and didn’t believe a word of this, but it shows you the nature of this company.

I cancelled my ordered there and then to be told a refund could take up to 30 days. This is the only company I have ever known that needed to state this. But true to their word I received my refund ON the 30th day. So I suggest you interpret  ‘could take upto 30 days’ to mean we will take 30 days. My refund was received on 24th September.

Truly a dreadful and disgraceful company and best avoided at all costs.

I'm very suspicious of all the 5 star review from Birminham ( home of WAE+)

Review of WAE+ from 26 September 2012
I am getting really worried now, having already fallen for one scam company and lost nearly £400 I thought going with someone "Which" lists on their website would be safe. I have ordered a videocamera on the 12th September and it should have been here by now. After waiting in a queue for 28 minutes (and agree, the worst music on hold so far experienced) I have got a very vague answer about issues with the system their warehouse. Looks like I am in for a very long wait, I hope not more money loss. :-(. In meantime looks like I will fail to take the videos for baby's birthday this weekend :-(
if WAE can't cope with the deliveries, they shouldn't offer the products they can't stock or deliveries they can't fulfil, free or not

I received my order fine, reviews below made me nervous but evidently no need to be. A few minutes after I stumbled across this page I got a UPS delivery despatch email, and as promised it arrived the day after bang on schedule for a price no one else was near to. So obviously be careful based on below emails but likewise it went brilliantly for me.

"I Ordered a internal LG CH10LS28 BLU RAY on 9th August for my PC

I cancelled on the 10th August because, I could see that my order wasn't dispatched, so I called WAE+ to find out when my item would be dispatched. WAE+ told me that my item was in Belgium, also saying my items could take 3 weeks before I get them. I said to WAE+ that had I known this prior to ordering I wouldn't have ordered in the first place, so I asked WAE+ to cancel this order.

1st week called as I hadn't got my refund (please bear in mind a refund only takes 30 sec to instigate, as I have my own online sales and it uses the same system) WAE+ said it would be done ASAP

2nd week same reply, asked to talk to manager or accounts department. There not allowed to do this but they will put a message on this refund that I had called twice. I feel the message said something like (make this one wait 30 days)

3rd week still no refund!

FOURTH week, I got the following copy and paste email from Gary P******l WAE+'s Complaints Controller. The email deliberately has no return email address (noreply), please bear in mind they can instigate a refund within 30 sec but WAE+ CHOOSE to keep your money for 31 days. This seems to be normal WAE+ practice.

WAE+'s standard apologie email:

Please accept our deepest and sincere apologies with regards to your refund as you were not happy with the service we provided.

I can now confirm you have been refunded in full and we can now close your investigation.

Your refund has been processed today and will be credited back to the debit card originally used. This will show in your account within the next 3-5 working days depending on who you bank with.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our regrets and to assure you that we will do our best to avoid a repeat of what happened.

We really do value our customers and your custom and look forward to continuning our relationship in the near future.

    Totally agree we are being hooked by this company ..I am fed up asking to get my refund as the item did not exist for delivery.I had to spend same £200 plus to buy elsewhere and cannot get my refund back from them.. they are patently abusing the financial rights of individuals by keeping any amount of customer refund money for as long as possible. I am now paying overdraft thanks to this awful awful 1 horse set up, and getting replies that it is being dealt with. Sadly it would be better to go and collect in person than wait for the money to be refunded to me. i would close each online company who abuses the finances of any individual just to get interest and liquid assets for nothing this way..Michael P——-e

Avoid! Dishonest company. The worst shopping experience I've ever had. Ordered 4 items advertised as in stock on 31/07 and still haven't got them all (it's 11/09 now!!!). Of course they took the payment straight away and now refuse any refunds. One of the items was a Logitech keyboard you can easily find on the web - for WAE+, 6 weeks does not seem to be enough! I've probably called them over 10 times already and every time they kept promising it'd be all delivered within the next 2-4 days - which of course was not the case. They kept giving silly excuses (e.g. someone got sick, they got confused, UPS was not delivering their parcels, then that my order was dispatched, but they couldn't provide a tracking number, etc.). There is no way to escalate any issues as there is no way to speak to their managers/supervisors. And... I can't even cancel my order because I'm being told the items have been 'allocated' and I need to wait for delivery first. Looks like SCAM.

Very upset with the service of this company. I ordered the Western Digital Scorpio Black 500 GB 2.5" Internal Hard Drive on a usual delivery service giving my package 10 - 12 day to arrive. After a day past the deadline we called to see where it was to find that they had forgotten and would place it in the post as soon as possible. A week later I called again to ask where it was to find out that it wasn't in stock and that they forgot to give me the notice. I was then told that they would find a replacement to send me within the next two day and an email would be sent for confirmation on this arrangement. Two days later and I'm told that they won't do what they had previously said and that nothing can be done. They wouldn't even offer me a replacement of a Hard Drive that they have in stock, no compensation, nothing. So now I fly out to China without a laptop. Never been more disappointed with any service more than this one. Totally contradicts what they state their standards to be online.

I bought a La Crosse weather station which came in at £217.41 which was very competitive. The item turned up on time, but turned out to be faulty. I asked for a full refund. Nothing heard for over a week so I phoned them; the most painful music on hold I have ever come across. After several attempts I got through and was told it was in the returns dept being 'tested'. Two weeks later I used the on-line web form as I could not face up to phoning them again (this is probably the design of the system), I also told them they are legally bound to refund me within 30 days according to distance selling regulations . I got a reply telling me the item was still being tested, and this could take 6-8 weeks. I lodged a complaint with CAB. I will probably claim the money back through the credit card or go through the Money On Line Claim through the courts. In the meantime I intend to give them the publicity they deserve in as many places as possible.

First time I've used WAE+ and first time I've had any problem with buying over the internet. Ordered a camera on Sat 28 July. My bank was debited on 30 July so I assumed goods had been despatched. However, order progress shows estimated delivery of 13-15 August. This looks strange. Other goods I ordered on free delivery from other suppliers on 28 July all arrived by 8 August. Quick check of WAE+ reviews online show that cash up front followed by delayed delivery & delayed refunds are commonplace. Birmingham Trading Standards are aware (see BTS website). I have cancelled my order and am not surprised to find that refunds take a lot longer than when they take the cash. Nothing so far other than that ‘it’s being dealt with’. I have given details to Birmingham Trading Standards, via the Citizen Advice Consumer Helpline 08454 040506 & advised my bank & local police of same.

Free option is the longest time of delivery I've ever seen. It is designed to push customers to pay for the shipment and to abandon free shipping. With this policy, WAE+ can not see success, even if you are the cheapest! A total mistake.

I got an email about the shipment the day before the 3-day (!) delivery window. The details of delivery was the message: "UPS". Just that! I expected that Royal Mail will be used as usual in the case of free shipping, but it came out differently. The next day I was at home all day, waiting for the UPS driver. No one appeared. A day later, I waited until noon and called WAE + asking for tracking number. They have this number!!!The only question is why did not I got it??? Link with the tracking number led to the b-post international(?) (http://www.bpost2.be). My package is in Belgium!!!??? If I got this information in the mail about the shipping, next day I did not sit all day at home, and even a day later.
I called across the border to "b-post international" with the question which stands for "Parcel is routed"? I got information that the package is in transport and I can check the Yodel website using "local barcode" found on the b-post tracking page.
Why I did not get this information from WAE+? Instead I get information about the used UPS Courier if that is not used at all?
Today b-post website shows the latest status of "Attempt failed delivery - Item put physically in warehouse". Place: GB. A little scary ... But at least is in UK!. Yodel website nothing showed yesterday, but today it is accurate information that the package last night went to the warehouse near me.
Today is the last day delivery window, and it seems that I get this package after 14 days from order! Information on the WAE+ website says about 10-12 days!?
Why I did not get all the valuable information concerning the shipment of my purchase!? Instead I had to carry out a private investigation!

    As we have said now, three times – you are not going to the right page. The cart and checkout, which require SSL are set up perfectly. The homepage does not require SSL.

WORST EVER SERVICE... LIE'S & DECEPTION
Having waited patiently for two months for my product to be delivered I finally had to cancel my order. During this time the product ordered showed as being "in stock" and after several calls and e-mails to WAE+ they assured me the product would arrive "next week". I found out their refund policy is to wait 30days from cancellation after having taken money from my credit card two months earlier. The fact is then that this has simply been a way for them to obtain money for as long as possible and blatantly lie about product availability and delivery to keep it for even longer. I am still waiting for my refund...

DO NOT USE WAE+, THEY ARE THOROUGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARE COWBOYS.

I try to purchased a hard drive with WAE+ and it was a mistake.

Their website showed they had stock but they were out of stock and I was not informed of this until I had to contact them to enquire whether the order was on its way. I waited for a week and they didn't even bother to try and get in touch to let me know that they were out of stock. They debited my account for the full amount of my order on the same day I made the order. I have still not received my order or the refund I have requested on several occasions by phone and by email. Two months and I still don't have my money back.

Fantastic value. Computer exactly as described. Arrived 3 days later, much earlier than first expected on free delivery. Terrific service online. Will always consider wae+ first on future purchases. Couldn't ask for better deal OR service at all.

WAE+ is, hands down, THE best website i have ever dealt with. Up to date, I have bought a 50 inch tv, Three laptops (well two laptops and a netbook), a bluray player, an adsl router and i am sure the list will continue. In terms of service, they are number one. I had a problem with the samsung tv. Customer service was very friendly and supportive indeed. I was able to return the television quickly and get another new one - however they didnt have the same TV in stock at their warehouse. The service guy did not have a problem offering me another comparable model. The new one (LG) was, in my opinion, a better one anyway now I've tested it. I'll stick with you guys for sure. Value, delivery, service = excellent.

I'm a first time user of WAE+ and I'm very happy to say I'm extremely pleased with their customer service I received. I ordered a 42" television last week, but I

forgot to put my building number in my address. I called up customer service and was greeted by an extremely helpful chap who helped me fix my dumb mistake and then

called through to the warehouse to ensure it updated correctly on their system. TV arrived a day later. Definitely recommend these guys :)

Shocking service, after waiting what seemed liked an eternity for my item, when it did arrive it was faulty, so I returned for a replacement, but after over a month of waiting and numerous emails and phones calls I have lost all hope and now asked for a full refund, let's hope this is something this company can get right!!!

Sensational support and service. I love the service I've received from the local WAE+ team, they've been nothing short of brilliant in getting our often very quirky requirements delivered to us next day or even same day sometimes. Prices much less than our previous and they were one of the big boys. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.
