Smokie Mo's

Came over to Liverpool for a stag. Needles to say it got a bit messy! Stumbled across this place early on in the weekend and spent most of our time here. It was directly oposite our hotel so very convenient.
Karaoke was brilliant. Better than any i have come across in Ireland. beer prices reasonable, lots of locals drinking in here. Very down to earth feel, great craic.
Would recomend this place to anyone visiting liverpool. Far better thn other bars in area.

What a night! Came to liverpool for the match and went out for a celebration pub crawl afterwards. This was the first pub we came across and we stayed from 4pm until 2.30 am!
I can honestly say that this is the friendliest and most lively bar I have been to, anywhere in the world. There was entertainment in the form of karaoke for the whole evening. It was run by a guy who kept the place buzzing, regardless of how bad some of the singers were. I have been to many karaokes but this one was very different. One of our group is a professional singer and he could not believe the range of songs and how good the host could sing them. He was great. It was as if it was his show and all of the karaoke performers were having a guest slot on it! Absolutely superb. Best Saturday in years, brilliant match followed by an unbelievable night.
We will be back to smokie mo’s again and I will be recomending a weekend in Liverpool to everyone in Bristol.

Perfect hen night venue! LOUD, buzzing, with friendly, fun staff (with one exception, where a friend was insulted by a doorman and left, but we didn't know about that at the time.)
Not the sort of place to go for a quiet drink, but loud, brash, and busy - just right for a group wanting atmosphere and a lot of fun.

I was at Liverpool, where I have attended the activities of Xanderand and the peace pirates, that played fantastic, the service was fast and all the staff was friendly and still looked good too. I would say a must for those who want a night away to Liverpool.

What can i say other than FANTASTIC, we went to liverpool with a view to attending as much local life as we could pack into a night out, we first went to Mo’s had a few drinks to get us started, the next thing we knew we were dancing around like crazy, there were people (Staff i think) dancing on the bars and shots flying around everywhere and before we knew it the night was over.

we loved it so much we are arranging a mini bus as some of our friends did not believe that tou could have sooooo much fun in one spot.

the only downside is that if you are looking for a quiet drink, you will have to find another spot as Mo’s is MAD MAD MAD.

got alot going for it reasonable priced drinks plenty od good entertainment. get quite packed and hard to get served. they do not make it any easier by closing two of the three bars an hour befor closing time. this was on grand national ladies day. i have never a decision so stupid made in a pub in all my years of drinking around the world. it just caused chaos on an exeptionaly busy night.

Absolutely brilliant night out. This bar has got to be the best in Liverpool right now.
Great entertainers interspersed with Karaoke and singers who are nearly as good as the professionals!
If you are going to Liverpool for a night out, I cannot recommend this bar highly enough. Cheap bar prices, amazing atmosphere, if you like your entertainment to be loud and no nonsense, you will love it.
Look out for one of the hosts (I think his name is CJ?) who really gets the crowd going and sings songs better than the original artists! (Our gang thought he was miming! He wasn’t!!! Sorry CJ!)

PS. Toilets aren’t to hot but what the hell ;-)

Excellent entertainment. 5pm to 6pm Mondays is local entertainer Hot Dog Joe -and some brilliant karaoke singers.
Also professional singers and a live band

Opposite to Rileys this is a huge bar that attracts all types but always bounces with both live music and karaoke. Two bars that generally give good service from friendly bar staff. If you like it loud and brash then you’ll love it here, it’s not for the faint hearted or shrinking violets.
Let your hair down and have a laugh here at Smokies.
