Refurbished a couple of years ago, it now boasts nice furniture and wooden floors and plenty of plasma screens. Great value for money food which is freshly cooked and very reasonable prices on the drinks. Unfotunately as the food came in the live music went out so its now become a calling in point for many before they head into town apart from the hardcore locals who seem to live here.
Plenty of characters drink in 'The White’ but it’s a decent enough pub serving decent beer with friendly staff.
