Review of Sushimania from 20 April 2013

Poor service！

My friend and I went to this restaurant for dinner today. The manager suddenly came to us and ask us to finish our meal in 5-10 minutes when we was still eating just because they needed table for new customers ( The fact is each customer have the right to eat as much as they can in two hours, but we only spent one and half hour. The staff didn't tell us that we need to finish the dinner in one and half hour in advance as well. I felt that they don't know how to serve the customers and they even didn't respect customers.

In addition, they always served the wrong dishes to us that we had never ordered and forgot to serve the food what we have ordered. The quality of the food is poor, for example, they serve us salad without any sauce and the Soup noodle is too salty .

We leave Sushi mania in very bad mood and we decided never come back again.
If you want to try the bad service you ever had in London, just go to Sushimania.

As I know, you didn’t make any table booking at the 1st place and the restaurant Manager have inform you due to the restaurant is very busy and you didn’t have any booking, if you would like to have a table, you could only have it for one and a half hours until the customer who booked it arrived. You have agreed to have the table for 1 1/2 hours only, so it’s not that the staff or Manager didn’t inform you beforehand and force you to finish your meal in 5-10 mins. You have agreed to it.
Please note, any customer who have make a table booking at Sushimania could enjoy All You Can Eat for two hours but for your circumstances is different and you have agreed to it before you have the table.

I have already said you had not given us any notification before we sat down. If you said so, we would think about eating here or not. The fact is that you gave us this notification when you asked us to leave. It’s your responsibility to explain the condition in advance instead of arguing with customer after they writing reviews. I have never written a negative review, and you are the first one. You really need to read about customer services.

Review of Sushimania from 20 April 2013

I went to the restaurant at Golders Green this evening with my friend for dinner. And we were very disappointed.

Firstly, one dish we ordered did not come until we talked with their staff. Seemed that there was a mistake when they placed the order at the kitchen.

Secondly, and similarly, they brought up one dish we did not order at all.

Thirdly, there was no sauce at all in a salad we ordered.

Fourthly, during the meal there we were always waiting for our food with the table empty. Their serving and cooking team were really slow today. We have been to this place quite a few times and this never happened.

Lastly but not leastly, the restaurant staff told us to leave 30 minutes before we finish our 2 hours because another group of reserved customers were coming. I understand they can be very busy on Saturday nights. But none of their staff told us to finish our meal earlier before we sat down. Then we were told to leave in 10 minutes while we were still eating. It is their job to arrange everything smoothly and they should inform customers beforehand if they need them to finish at a certain time.

In a word, we were both very disappointed and will not come again. It did not worth the money and all the travel we did to go to the restaurant.

Serious lack of customer service. The manager is a disgusting specimen of a man. They served shellfish in their vegetarian tempura then argued with me claiming I had ordered that dish. Who argues with a customer? Why would I complain if I had ordered it? The manager was rude and didn't acknowledge their mistake on any level. I will never eat there again. They could really do with reading up about customer service.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received.
I went to eat with my friends, and the waitress did not explain the promotions of the night properly. When one of my friends made the mistake of ordering from the wrong menu, instead of offering an explanation or solution, the manager yelled at him. He also yelled at everyone else in the table.
Very dissapointed.

Just had lunch here. Half price on the regular menu m-f 12-3. Awesome deal and fantastic food. My wife and I had a total bill of 18.50. Four different kinds of rolls, sashimi and Edemame. Great!
