A chill funky place in the heart of Balham. A place for socialising and satisfying your senses, a destination for stylish laid back crowds.

Food is good but cocktails are amazing!!! My most favorite is Mr Millers. Just amazing!! Bartenders always seems fun and friendly. But keep in mind its kinda busy specially Fridays and Saturdays, so its not easy to reach bar quickly… :)
Yummdiddlyscrumptious!!!
Been here a few times now... the Porterhouse steak and mini sausages are our faves...
Cool, laid-back atmosphere... with a lush vibe.
Polite and helpful staff, and cracking cocktails.
Will definitely go back... sooner rather than later!
If you're looking for a meaty lunch then this is a decent spot. Steaks are good, nice atmosphere too. Spacious venue, would recommend.
Overall I was really pleased with this place. The staff was really friendly and the food was great and not too expensive. A solid place to satisfy a red meat craving that won't cost you your paychecky. And I like that you can get a carafe of wine for those nights you don't need a bottle to share, but want more than just a glass.
-salmon pot: incredibly delish
-crayfish cocktail: very tasty
-steak sandwich: pretty good. came with mustard on it which ruined it in my eyes.
-8oz hangar steak: great quality for a hangar steak. the bearnaise sauce was amazing with it. perfect portion.
Great food and well presented, plus polite and courteous staff. Nice design of hotel and restaurant. We will definitely be going back.
A bastion of glass and brass in Shoreditch.
Simple, yet complete menu, heavy on the meat. Quality ingredients served correctly, with thought, and in ample quantity.
Attentive service and open kitchen.
Buzzing, but not overly loud. Reasonably space tables.
Well put together cocktails, cheaply.
Best chicken club in London. The porterhouse for two is a bit scary large.
Good for groups.
Cracking food, great surroundings, crap service. This place is a bit desperately trendy, but has an interesting mixed crowd at lunchtime. It’s owned by the same people who run Room in Leeds (which is somewhere I used to frequent!), and you can tell. My fellow diners were happy enough with their food, and my lamb shank was delicious (see photos), but the fact that it took an hour to arrive means, only 3 stars from Phil. Sorry guys.
I have eaten here for breakfast and evening meal, its fantastic.
The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and reasonably priced.
My wife and I both had steak and it came on like a chopping board which we had never seen before, beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. It was our anniversay and was fantastic.
The breakfast that I had the following day was just as good with plenty of choice on the menu and great coffee. The sta
Will always go back when in London.
This place is great.
The staff are truly lovely.
The food is fantastic.
It’s a fairly smart hotel restaurant, but very reasonably priced considering. Main courses start at £10, and probably go up to £20 or £25. They seem to do quite a few special offers. I saw a wine offer on their website, and before 7pm on certain days they serve some of the normal dishes at £7. E.g. steak.
