You are right. It is just a house, though I’d recommend a walk around the area as this is where Marc and Gloria lived so you can soak up some local vibes as much as it is possible to do some in an area which has changed a little in the thirty five years since he died.

Marc Bolan’s last home is tragically less than one mile (0.9 miles to be exact) from the site where he died in Gipsy Lane, Barnes, which would become his Rock Shrine. Marc’s last house at 142 Upper Richmond Road West is opposite Adrian Hall Garden Centre. If you are planning on being in the area, it is worth visiting this, his last home at the same time as you visit Marc Bolan’s Rock Shrine. Both Marc’s last home and Adrian Hall Garden Centre are in East Sheen however Qype confirmed that “East Sheen is listed as a suburb and not a district as Mortlake. Qype have only listed districts, not suburbs.” That is why they are correctly listed as ‘Mortlake’.

Beautiful tribute to a beautiful man from fans all over the world. The original Gardenia 16. Might I add that the house is in East Sheen and the Shrine in Barnes which may be helpful to fans in search of the exact location.

Its Marc's last house and worth a look if you are in the area to visit his shrine which is a wonderful place. Very Spiritual thanks to TAG. To sum up this is just a house with high walls and limited photo opportunities.
