The quality of the product is as good as I've seen in any shop and I paid a very reasonable price for the item I purchased.

Nice piece of furniture,well made,well chosen wood but as a serious readers book case not very good as there is insufficient room between the shelves to accommodate even quite small books upright and many books have to be stored flat.The shelf heights are not adjustable

I ordered a Corona 3 piece bedroom set for £275. I have been so impressed with the quality of the furniture - yes it was a little hard to build but it was so worth it. The set looks much more expensive than it was and it's lovely to have something so solid that feels like it will last a long time.

I found it very easy to use their web site, the delivery was made on time and at the time the driver advised. The furniture arrived in very good order, not a mark on it and it is very well made. Would definitely use this company again when in the market for more furniture.

I like old style furniture, oak looks so good, material is solid and will stay for long time. I bought this bed for my daughter, she loves it so much. I will buy more furniture you soon.

I am writing this review as a warning to all those considering using Furnishing Homes.

DO NOT! THEY WILL NOT DELIVER OR REFUND! 

I made a purchase with them in April of this year with a 6 to 10 week delivery time frame.

I received various emails telling me my order was due to be ready on time.

10 weeks passed and I contacted the company and that’s when the long list of excuse emails and updates in my account on their web site began.

‘There’s been a small delay’

‘Your order is ready and will be delivered in 5 to 15 working days’

‘The managers dealing with your order’

 ‘Misunderstanding between the carrier’

‘By Friday this week with a carrier called XDP Express.’

I have received over 20 emails from them with a varied set of excuses and promises of delivery.

These are just stalling techniques.

I was quite patient but finally realised I had been duped and requested a full refund on the 13/09/2012.

I have since received emails confirming the refund and that it would be completed within 30 days.

Of course no refund has been provided.

I have now read a number of other reviews with similar stories.

I had to take up the issue with my credit card company under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.

Note this company also trades as High Grove Furnishings and Furniture Camden.

Take my advice avoid this company at all costs.

I was really happy with this experience with furnishing homes firstly value for money is excellent and on arrival I wasn't disappointed with the quality this also was good. it was very easy to order online. They kept me updated about my items when they came in stock and when to deliver also the phone an hour before delivery was really helpful meant I didn't have to wait in all day.

Happy with product. It took a long time for a query to be responded to via main email address - over a week - although a member of staff was individually very helpful. The only aspect I was unhappy with was packaging/delivery. The delivery driver put table down on its side and then rolled it over to make it upright. I could hear it rattling around in the box due to limited amount of protective packing and it was very lucky it was not damaged by this.

We wanted some rustic looking living room furniture to compliment our little cottage but we didn't have a big budget. We found the perfect pieces for our living room at prices we could afford. The choice was amazing. Great site.

The furniture is really nice quality and for a very reasonable price. The main problem was organising delivery ,as I was expected to be available from early in the day to late in the evening. As it turned out the delivery was mid morning and was convenient  However until Furnishing Homes start offering sensible time slots I will not be using their service again.

A little annoyed with driver who did not take his shoes off going up the stairs. We have new carpet laid which was marked by his shoes. The furniture is great, shame about the delivery driver.

Cabinets that are part oak for the show parts & part pine for the parts that are not. They look good & i will quite likely to buy some more when the other bedrooms are finished.
