Avoid. The delivery took an hour and a half and when it turned up it was terrible. Despite having 4 telephone lines, no one ever answers the phone which means you cant cancel the meal. A con if ever there was one...

I have never felt the need to slag off a "restaurant" online. This place is horrendous!!!
Do not order.
Our order was an hour late and bathe food was disgusting. Utter slop with no flavour and small portions.
When we phoned to complain we spoke to an exceptionally rude man who lied about how long he said it would take.
Terrible food and terrible service and not even that cheap!! I am now writing to all companies who feature them on their takeaway pages to have them taken off, they are truly that bad.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, ALL GOOD REVEIWS ARE FAKE!!

Do not order. our food was late and disgusting! i have had 2 mouthfuls and thrown the rest away. The soup was full of sugar and the stir fry dry with no flavour.

The food was very tasty. If you like spice this is the place for you ... the Thai curry and Kung po Chicken had a good amount of spice, unlike a few Chinese takeaways we´ve had in the past. The spare ribs also had a very good amount of meat and hardly any fat. Would definitely recommend this place.

I am surprised i am still alive to write this review after ordering from here last night..i have had nightmares about the sort of kitchen the radioactive looking food must have been cooked in...!

The food is great. Used to order some where else but after trying there food i will never go back to the old place. the service is great and the food always comes really hot.

Ordered from here last night sadly before checking reviews... It took an hour and a half to arrive and when it did it was absolutely DISGUSTING. Just looking at it made me feel sick. I still feel a bit funny now and I only had a couple of mouthfuls before throwing the gunk in the bin. THIS IS A JOKE OF A TAKE AWAY DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE EVER!!!

I think either the manager or the chef must have changed recently because the food from this place used to be great but the take away we ordered tonight was awful. The hot and sour soup we ordered was completely bland, the szcechuan chicken was basically 4 small bits of chicken breast, 2 slithers of carrot and a whole lot of water/sauce which tasted of nothing. Also the lid said fried chicken ...
When we rang to complain we were told we could have a complimentary main meal next time we order. When we asked for it to be delivered on the same evening (because there was so little food in this order) they said it wasn't possible. Either way, I'm not thinking we'll order from here again, so probably won't take them up on this offer. 0 out of 5.

By far the worst take away experience I have ever had. The order took over an hour to arrive and when it did arrive two items were missing and another item was incorrect. When we called to have it corrected the manager said he would call back in 5 minutes. Received no call back and and after 5 more calls and another hour and a half we received the missing dishes but they forgot to send the corrected dish. The food itself was also flavourless and had nothing to do with Thai, just salty soggy vegetables. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Firstly, I believe that high scoring reviews have been given to this restaurant probably by the people that work there... why do I think this?
1. the state of the slop they delivered to me today
2. in every top scoring review the word 'minute' has been spelt 'mint'... who abbreviates 'mint' for minute... not many people..
Today I ordered food from bamboo baboom. It not only turned up atleast 20 minutes late, but it also looked like slime/puss. I opened the container and the green gooey sludge spilt out over the carpet... even my dog turned up its nose at the sheer sight and stench of the mush that had plopped out of the container.
Now, you may be reading this thinking.. shes going a little over the top......
Trust me, no words can best describe the disgusting state of the gloop that was delivered to me.
I feel I need to let people know the state of this "restaurant" as I would be doing the people of London a massive disservice if I did not spread the word...
Normally if I get a slightly dodgey takeaway I get a bit annoyed, possibly complain over a phone call and throw the food away...
Not this time, the sludge stunk like it was either rotten or off.. or both. So my boyfriend and I google mapped the "restaurant" and drove down there with the gooey mess in tow.
The sat nav navigated us to what I can only describe as an industrial estate, by this time as you could imagine I was getting more irrate, so I rang the "restaurant" and the man informed me that he was situated in a call center in India, and they have many "restaurants" around London so couldn't disclose the address of where this rotting slime was being "cooked"....
My boyfriend noticed a guy on a motor bike (carring a fast food carrier type thing) and went with his gut instinct and followed the man to what I can only describe as a garage/shed/warehouse littered with fly infested bins and general rubbish and rust...
We got out of the car and politely asked the guy if this was bamboo baboom, of which he confirmed that this garage was indeed this "amazing rated" take away restaurant... so mission was accomplished, we found the secret location of where our slop bucket originated from...
I said to the takeaway guy, could I speak with his manager, he didn't seem to surprised that I was complaining about the food but more about the fact customers had actually turned up at this secret location... I proceeded to reveal to this guy the stinking slop grot that I was returning to its rightful owners and he didn't seem shocked, at this point he was knocking quite rapidly on the garage/warehouse correlated sliding door (which by the way was suspiciously dripping from within, of what I could see from looking underneath) I asked the guy what the kitchen was like - he was lost for words.. my hunch told me this was not in a good way.
Proceeding to bang on the industrial sliding door which was pad locked from the outside, we could hear banging and crashing from within, the guy was getting slightly nervous and even though he was speaking in another language I guessed he was on the phone to his boss who seemed to be rapidly "tidying up" beyond the slimey drippy fly infested rusting door.
The sliding doors opened enough for the slim manager to squeeze out of the door, giving my boyfriend and I not a lot of time to set eyes on the dungeon in which our slime slop was produced... he, to be fair, was extremely apologetic - But I mean who wouldn't be after two hungry customers had hunted down your secret slime dungeon and were presenting to you rotten stinky dog food type slop that you had passed off as "thai and chinese food" - we asked to see the moist dungeon of culenry disaster, of which these people called the kitchen, I can only describe it as a slimey dark, damp hole... when he opened the door as well, a swarm of FLIES flew out as if it was the first taste of freedom they had ever had.
My hands still smell of the disgusting gloop.. at least I got my money back I suppose- not that we let him much choice.
Oh and the fanta (unopened/still in date) tasted like off sparkling water with no taste at all.... I mean the food is one thing, but not even being able to keep a well known branded drink fresh seems mind boggling to me.
I sincerly hope that this review gets posted because people NEED to know where their food/slop is coming from- I would like to read a review such as this warning me not to spend my hard earned cash on a meal that is NOT edible by even my dogs standards that isn't even on time any way...
DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ON THIS PAGE... how you can rate oily greasy grimey grotty sludge 6/6 or 5 Stars I do not know.... EVEN THE FLIES WERE TRYING TO ESCAPE IT IS SERIOUSLY THAT BAD...

We have tried so many Chinese takeaways in and around Wandsworth area, but Bamboo Baboom is outstanding. I have never had any problems with delivery,it´s always delivered before the expected time,
it´s always always piping hot and I´ve never had to complain about the food whatsoever it has always been good value for your money. Even on a Friday/Saturday night when they are alot busier than during the week I´ve never experienced any delays in the order, even if there is any delay they normally inform me before processing the order. They never miss anything off from the order, I have now given up trying any other Chinese takeaway food.

this is the first time i used this chinese takeaway and the food was lovely. It was still hot when we got it. and it was delivered straight away they opened and got a call from them as well that the have received my order even tho i ordered before the shop opened.

The food from this take away was some of the worst Chinese food I have ever encountered. The 'broth' for the won ton soup was a brown gloop which reappeared in all of the main dishes. Do not eat this food if you appreciate good Chinese food. The food also took over an hour to arrive, much longer than stated.
Please be aware that this take away also operates under the name 'gung ho kung po' - it is the same dreadful food...

If I could give a 0 then I would. Absolutely the worst takeaway I have ever had the misfortune to order. Soup watery and tasteless, supposed 'pad thai' could not have tasted less like pad thai if it had tried. Glutinous, soggy white noodles, pathetic amount of prawns and variety of 'veg' that I could barely recognise. Whoever has been voting this place up is obviously employed by the company and they fooled us as we have just moved and could only use mobile internet to find anywhere nearby. Never again is an understatement - it's a disgrace that anyone is allowed to serve food this bad and make us wait over an hour for it in London in 2012.
