Ambiance and service excellent. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Indian food is good. However, Thai food needs improving. Spring rolls were tasteless. Fishcakes were flat and not appetising. Chicken in oyster sauce was rubbery and overcooked. I would eat Indian there but not Thai, again.

Wonderful restaurant -great food, ambiance and excellent service. My husband and I and our 3 children loved it. We will definitely be coming again.

Visited Mausams last saturday, in one sentence "This is the best Restaurant in Bedfordshire for Indian and Thai Food". Last weekend was about to go to our preferred restaurant, as the restaurant was fully packed I had to do a quick lookup at Google and saw some nice review about this place. Thought we should try this place, I am glad that I checked this place out. This is a modern restaurant with friendly staff and freshly cooked food. 5 miles away form Bedford, massive car park, just love way it is. Recommendation??? - The chicken Satay, Mausams Special Curry - mixed seafood with Jasmine Rice is highly recommended. Try out all the Chef's specialities as they do variety of nice flavoured food. The waiter recommended a dish (Crocodile Tears) to my wife, she loved it.

I have been told by my friends about this restaurant a month ago and i ate food last saturday, the food was excellent, services are superb and very very friendly experienced staff. I enjoyed the evening a lot at mausams.
I would recommend this restaurant to anybody in my area.

Perfect location & beautiful restaurant! Tables are not too close to each other (hate that in most places you sit right next to strangers & can't talk openly) The best of welcomes each time. Great place for relaxing family meal or celebration. We love the food its cooked perfectly and tastes so good my youngest daughter is now a fan of indian food! Have been approx 3 times & each time its been the same high standard of food & service. Definately be returning as many times as possible. Recommend this lovely restaurant to everyone. Maybe i better book for xmas very soon as its probably going to be very busy!

I cannot get over how lovely the Indian food was from this restaurant.
I am bored by the usual takeway Indian food - they dont give an impression of authenticity and many sacrifice taste for quantity. However on trying this place for the first time this weekend i was impressed. I ordered a takeaway and the food was fresh, good quality, tasty, and the items on the menu had all the classics plus some wonderful new items- we had to try the Crocodile Tears and Purple Tiger - both delicious! (By the way one's a chicken dish and the other a prawn dish).
I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I went here for the first time last night, My first impression was: ‘Wow this restaurant has a very unique design!’ I love the colours and lights of this place, it gives a lively mood while eating the spectacular food. I myself haven’t tried food from the Thai cuisine but this was an amazing entry! I also had my favorite dish from the Indian cuisine, the Chicken Rogan Josh, and it had brought my wonderful memories from when I first had it at India with a friend who i was also coincidently dining with at Mausam’s. I was lucky enough to meet the owner of this restaurant Sam, he is very friendly, and his jokes are hilarious! for me the most amazing thing about this restaurant is that as you enter, the atmosphere is very welcoming, I will Surely have to come here again!

I love this place, it’s so beautiful the inside is very different in a good way, and the waiters are friendly, the only thing that I would have liked is for it to be closer to my house, so i can visit on a regular, but i guess that’s my fault as my house is distant. But nonetheless Excellent Food! from both cuisines, this restaurant has also introduced me to Thai food and that in a splendid way!

I have had Thai food before, but this was outstanding! I ordered a takeaway and the food had come faster than I expected, the food was warm and all the flavors had met. definitely ordering from here again!

Brilliant Restaurant! the food is great (both the Indian and Thai )the staff are very friendly, the lights and colours of the restaurant makes it a very lively place, perfect place for a night out with the Family where you can park your vehicle at rear parking.

Thought we would try as very local, we also love Thai food. BIG mistake, in 2 words simply terrible. coconut rice a grey colour, both beef and chicken dry tough and inedible. Sweet chilli dip watered down. Only saving grace were the Thai crackers (obviously not home made). Will not be getting a takeaway from here again…..

I have to disagree with you on that, I did have chicken and it was not in any way of how you described it but infact the opposite, the sweet chilli dip was fine in tase and consistency, and after all sauce is meant to be runny. And what colour is coconut rice meant to be?
